Disney Wonder Where's All The Happy People At? 8/27-3 Night Cruise

I just got back from my 3 Day Disney Wonder Cruise, did the cruise for 99 dollars because of the bounceback deal.

Highlights of the Trip:

-Getting to the terminal at 9:50am and it being open when we parked so we could go in.

-getting group 2 boarding number

-being one of the first ones on the ship

-watching lion king after the first lunch

-getting my first drink of the day

-seeing Pikey and talking with him

-meeting Frankie and all the other cruise staff I didn't know

-Marc remembering us from the Magic

-Wavebands every night

-Match Your Mate which three guys who work for DCL come in a sit down for the ladies as a Joke

-Pikey and one of the guys vacationing on the ship doing a dance off to single Ladies after Krazy Karaoke and then the next night them doing the dance to Single Ladies(Put A Ring On It) on stage in Wavebands

-singging Bon Jovi, Summer Nights, and Journey in Wavebands on the last night with everyone in there cruise staff and guests

Woke up around 4:00am since I couldn't sleep anymore and needed to be up by 5:00am anyway. Turned on the Disney Channel and watched some Recess(which I haven't watched since it was on One Saturday Morning) and got dressed. My dad and I left the house at about 5:00am. Drove to Newark airport, parked the car and caught the bus to the terminals. Went through security and went to mcdonalds for breakfast. After eating went to the gate and waited to board the plane. Boarded the plane and left a little late, but got to Orlando pretty much on time. Got the luggage and then went to catch the bus that goes to the car rental place. Dad got the rental car and we headed to Downtown Disney for lunch at Earl Of Sandwhich. I got ham and swiss cheese sandwhich

Went back to the car and headed over to check in at the hotel. We stayed at All-Star Sports Hotel this time. Checked in and found out we were in the Hoops building. So went to park the car near there and went to the room since it was ready.

Once in the park we went on Pirates Of The Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. We then got a Dole Whip float. Then we split up for a while and I went to see the parade then did a little shopping and rode the train.

After I rode the train around the Magic Kingdom one time it was closed because it started raining, so met up with my dad and we got a bus back to the hotel. Got back to the hotel and headed to the room and took some pictures while heading back

After resting in the room for a while, we headed to catch the bus for Epcot. The bus came and we were on the way to Epcot. Got to Epcot and got into the park. Walked around for a while and headed to Japan area for some dinner, it was packed inside so we had to sit outside in the rain. After dinner took some pictures.

Went shopping in a store in Japan and bought some candy. Walked around somemore and went to the American section and watch a show. Then we went and found ad spot to sit and watch the fireworks. My dad talked to a couple that was sitting next to us and they talked about DCL since that came up. Took a picture of the ball while waiting for the fireworks to start.

Fireworks started so we watched them for a while. Left before they were over so we wouldn't have to wait long for a bus. Got the bus back to the hotel and went to the room. While going back to the room found out the pool was packed still so we went and took a little swim in the pool since it was 10:00pm or so and we weren't going to sleep yet. After swimming dad went and got us a couple drinks of soda with our cups and we headed back to the room. When we got back to the room I took a shower and then watched some tv. Dad went to sleep and I watched tv a while longer and then tried to go to sleep, but couldn't so was up till about 2:00am.

Woke up around 6:00am. I couldn't sleep since I was so excited. Watched tv and got ready for the day. Dad was out taking pictures around the hotel already.

Went to the food court at the hotel again and bought a drink so I could have something to drink at port and went back to the room and got our stuff and headed to the car. Left the hotel at about 8:15am and were on our way to port.

So we left All-Star Sports hotel at 8:15am and drove to port. This was our first time not taking DCL bus. Got to port around 9:50am and parked the car and walked into the terminal and didn't have to wait in any big lines. Looked around the terminal and took some pictures.

So after we boarded the ship we went to Parrot Cay for our first lunch on the ship.

After lunch we went up to deck 9 and got our first drinks of the cruise. Bahama Mama's. Love It! After that I went and changed while dad went and sat down. Met up with my dad and I headed to take a dip in the Goofy Pool while he went to the adult pool Quiet Cove Pool and took a dip. I could have gone, but I went to the Goofy Pool because The Lion King was going to be playing on the Ariel View Television and I wanted to watch it. So I watched The Lion King and took a picture with my cell phone.

Got another Bahama Mama, yeah life is good. Watched the rest of the movie and then relaxed by the pool. Dad met up with me after a few hours and we headed down to the stateroom which was aft on deck 5 this time. Dropped some of my stuff off and left my dad to go walk around the ship some more. Headed up to deck 9 and got a soda and then went back over to the Goofy Pool and watched some stuff happening there. Pikey and DJ Frankie were there hosting Pool Side Jams. Said Hey to Pikey and he remembered me since I have met him on 5 other cruises:lmao:. Met Frankie for the first time and he is a awesome dude and a Yankees fan so got to like him. After that went back down to the stateroom and got ready for the lifeboat drill.

Dinner tonight was in Animator's Palate and it was great like every other cruise. Met tablemates who were all nice and Servers Sutas and Aiko who were great. Saw the show and I have to say like it better on the Magic, was great on the Wonder as well though.

Went to see The Golden Mickeys, which was great seeing once again. After that headed to the stateroom and drop off some things and then went to Wavebands where Pikey and Frankie were hosting The Feud game, so watched that. After that was Match Your Mate, not as funny as it was on the Magic last time, but still funny. After that was Rock and Country Hour, so got up and danced for that because the cruise staff is great at getting people up and dancing. After that DJ Frankie played some music till 1:30am. Left Wavebands around 1:15am and headed to the stateroom for the night.

Went back to the stateroom and got my ipod and listened to it on deck 10 while watching the Eco Quiz, which Pikey and Frankie were hosting. They kept hiding from the camera man on decks 9 and 10. He found them most of the time:lmao:. Ice carving was next so watched that.

a lot of people got off the ship on my cruise, but people did stay wasn't as crowded at when everyone is on. Easy to get a chair by the pool. If you haven't been I'd get off for a while to check it out. My dad got off to look for cheap cigs for my mom(who was back home). After being on 8 cruises I knew I wanted to stay on the ship, since I have been and I have friends who work on the ship, so I talked to them all over the ship:goodvibes

At this time they were suppose to have The EA Active Experience at the Goofy Pool, but couldn't since it was raining. They gave away free shirts so people did walk away happy. It stopped raining so I went down to deck 4 for a while.

Met up with my dad and we headed to the Castaway Clubhouse. It was good, watched the video and met some people, got free rice crispy treat and a diet coke, and a free pen. After that headed back to the stateroom and got ready for dinner, since it was pirate night put on my necklace. Mickey was out in the Atrium at 5:30pm so went and got a picture with him.

Dinner was in Parrot Cay tonight, so met uo with my dad and went to dinner. I don't remember what I had, but it was all great again.

After dinner walked around for a while and I think dad went to the stores because he took a picture of the Knicks player that was on the cruise.

Went to see Toy Story The Musical for the first time which was a good show. Then I headed up to the arcade and played some games for a while since I had time till the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party started. After games, went out and joined in the fun on the Party. Dad took all the pictures at the party that I post and I took the videos.

After the party went down to Wavebands for some Krazy Karaoke, which is only for Adults. Was awesome once again. Found out Pikey and Frankie have Crabs, haha no not those kinds of crabs people Racing Crabs. After karaoke DJ Frankie played music. Pikey and a guest on the ship had a danceoff to Single Ladies(Put A Ring On It) which was funny. After a while got tired was left Wavebands and headed back to the stateroom to go to bed.

Woke up around 7:00am. Dad was already out of the room taking pictures around the Disney Wonder. SO I got ready for a beach day.

After that went and got some lunch at Cookies BBQ then headed back to the beach and chilled for a while with my dad. Lilo and Stitch came to the Gazebo for a dance party thing, so I watch and got some of that on tape.

Got back on the Wonder and went to the stateroom where I ran into my dad. He wanted to get off really quick and take a picture of me from Castaway Cay, so he did. I also took a picture of him.

After the pictures I took a shower while dad walked around the Wonder. After my shower I packed up my suitcase so I wouldn't have to do it later. Dad came back and we went up to deck 10 to get the picture he have got on 6 of the other cruises.

After 'Til We Meet Again was over I headed to wavebands and watched Wonder Quest since it already started. After that they had Rock Star party for adults in wavebands, so I stayed for that and it was awesome. We all sang Journey-"Don't Stop Believin" and Bon Jovi song and some other stuff. Pikey and the guy from the night before also had another dance off to Single Ladies(Put A Ring On It).

Woke up around 5:45am. I can never sleep later then that on the last morning because I usually forget to take pictures so I want to walk around the ship a few times to make sure I got on of all the places. Went to breakfast and Tritons. Which was good. Said bye to tablemates and servers and thanks, and then I left and walked around the ship a little more since we didn't have to leave right away since we were only going to WDW. So I took some more pictures.

We were staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so we went there and checked in. We couldn't go to the room since it wasn't ready, so we headed over to Animal Kingdom.

After Animal Kingdom, we got a bus to the Swan Hotel and had lunch at some place on the boardwalk. It was a great lunch. After lunch did a little shopping at one store, then headed to Epcot so dad could go on a ride or two while I walked around some. So we went on what he wanted to and I just walked around, most sat down since I was dead tired still and it was hot. Okay, I am so not looking foreward to getting off the ship. I was looking at your pics, "See you real soon." And I got depressed. At least you were going to WDW. We are doing that first, and then driving 1800+ miles home. So that is what I have to look foreward to when our cruise is done. two times I have stayed at WDW after a cruise, 3 after our December cruise. I always get depressed when I see the "See You Real Soon" sign, even when I go to WDW after I cry and I am always tired, but nice way not to rush back into the real world.. I hope you get to do a 7 day one time. They are awesome, then after you do that you'll want longer, trust me:lmao:. I have a 7 day booked for my birthday in March 2010 and then 6 night and 7 night booked b2b in April/May 2011:lmao:. I love cruises:thumbsup2

Our room was ready so we could go to it now. Got to the room and sat down on the bed and chilled and called my mom who was at home.

It was close to dinner time, so we got a bus to downtown disney and went to house of blues for dinner. After dinner we went back to the hotel and then took the ferry over to Magic Kingdom.

Dad went to look around and ride some rides while I shopped in the stores in Main Street. Met up with my dad before the fireworks started and we got to ferry back to the Wilderness Lodge. I was tired so I stayed in the room while day went to see this.

I took and shower and watch tv and heard the music from outside our room. Dad got back to the room and we watched tv. I don't remember what time I passed out, but I fell asleep early since I was so tired.

Next Up: Last Morning in Disney and Going home

Woke up around 7:00am again. Got ready for the day then went down to the fast food place in the Wilderness Lodge to get some breakfast. After breakfast went back up to the room and got all our stuff ready. Once our stuff was ready went down to the store in the hotel to look around and see if we wanted anything and walked around the hotel for a while as well.

Went back up to the room and got our bags and brought them to the car.

After dropping our bags in the car we got the ferry to the Contemporary Hotel so that we could look around there.

Left the hotel and headed to Downtown Disney for one last meal in Disney.

After Lunch headed to the airport. We got there a little early so chilled and looked around for a while. Finally took off and were on our way back to NJ.
