View Full Version : How come I don't get a Bounce Back offer?

I have been reading about "bounceback" offers-where you receive an offer to come back at the same time the following year usually during the free dining time.

I have been going to WDW end of Aug for the past 3 yrs and I have not received this offer. How is it determined who gets this and when? I have heard other people discussing that they rec'd they offer while staying at the same time that I have been there.:confused3

My understanding is that this is a promotion that has to be booked while you are currently staying in your disney resort. I've always had a little brochure or card on the table in the room telling a little about it. You just have to call from your room and book your next or "bounceback" stay. It's not a PIN or email offer.

I never got a "little card" and I forgot about it of course until I got back home and was reading the Dis boards! I need to write a note to myself before i go on these trips!

We were at CBR in June, and our bounce back offer was on the table in our room. Perhaps you have just been missing the offer?

Or perhaps the maid forgot to put it in the room? Ours "magically" appeared on the "dining" table on our second night.

My bounceback offers are never good. I'd have to come back so soon and times I cannot.

Last week did not have the card in my room. Others staying at the same resort got deals and when I called for the same deal they acted like I was crazy and misunderstood the other lady with the offer.

All you have to do is call from your room while you are staying onsite. It has to be during the time they are sending out the flyers, but you don't actually have to receive one. I always copy down the code and number from the boards in case I don't receive the flyer in my room. They seem to offer it every September. Here is the current info if you are going down this month-

Right, that's the offer I just received. If you think you want to return for free dining, it's a good deal because the deposit is only $200 and is fully refundable (up until next summer). With the restaurant booking window back to 180, I figure (hope?) it will be easier to make dining reservations since most free Disney diners won't be able to book until about May, when the offer is generally extended to the general public.

Yes, the current Bounceback offer is for free dining.

We just came back from the Poly this past Sunday and we did not receive anything in our room regarding bounceback…I was really hoping we would because I was already to book for next year. Wish I knew beforehand that you didn’t have to physically receive a flyer because I would have called from my resort room prior to leaving :sad2:

Same thing happened to us last year @ Pop. I was able to track down the offer this year, as once again we never received a flyer in our room. I do believe, however, that the offer may be limited to Value & Moderate resorts, and so you may not have had the opportunity staying @ Poly.

the offer is not limited to mods & values - it is offered at all levels.

BUT it's probably just as well you didn't see the offer in a deluxe, because quite often it is not the best deal to take free dining in a deluxe resort. You can usually do better with a room discount at Deluxe resorts. Free dining, in general, is a good deal when you are staying in less expensive rooms (because you have to pay rack rate for the room...bit steep in the Deluxe, even during hurricane season.)

I didn't get to book last year before we left WDW, but tried the night before we left and they were closed. We spent the whole day getting home the next morning so I called the following morning a full day after check out and was still able to book the bounceback.

You never know until you try!
