I have a contract that I am thinking about selling myself, to save the 8 to 10% commission fee. Does anyone have experience selling their DVC membership theirself, with closing done by Timeshare Title & More out of Orlando? Thanks!

If the buyer is paying for closing, you may want to allow the buyer to choose a (mutually agreeable) closing company. You can recommend one, but I wouldn't insist.

I believe the typical commission is 10-12%, with at least one broker adding other fees on top of that. I know GMAC charges an additional $195 "administrative fee."

I also agree with Brina's suggestion of letting the buyer select the closing company. I'd give them a list of the companies used by TTS and others and let them choose. Then, if the closing service is less than magical, they can't blame you for any delays.
