Is there a Tropical Night on the 7-day Eastern Cruise? If so, which night?

Hi Tammy...tropical night on the Eastern is on Tuesday, the day you are in St. Maarten. Many people buy their tropical shirts on the island that day. I always bring one from home. Your choice. It is alot of fun to see almost the entire ship in their tropical wear!!!

It is fun but the fun party starts at 10:00 and my kids ages 7&9 were so tired every night that we were usually in bed at 10:00.I know it's hard to plan things to fit everyones schedule but 10 is way too late for kids under the age of 10. There certainly were alot of kids there having a great time though!!!!Have fun!!!!

I was the one in bed by 10:00. My DS12 wanted to stay up until midnight. I let him go to club late one night, but he woke everybody up when he came in. Every morning I was up at 6:00. I was so excited I couldn't go back to sleep. So I would go on deck, get some coffee and just relax and watch the ocean. Next time I'm going to make myself stay in bed so I can stay up late. There is so much going on I don't want to miss anything.;)

I am planning on buying dresses for my girls in St. Maarten during the day. Any idea how much I should budget for 3 dresses?

If you buy your clothes on the island - do you wash them before you wear them or do you feel it is ok to wear them without washing?

I bought my daughter a 2 piece skirt and top for $8. I bargained with them.I got it at the air market like a flea market in the center of St. Martin.Everything is really cheap. I got a tshirt for me and a beach towel for $15 too.
