St. Maarten Location

I can't seem to find this information anywhere. Does anyone know where the boat docks in St. Maarten? I know that it's Philipsburg, but Avis lists 3 different locations in Philipsburg:

Great Bay Marina
Airport Rd #120
Queen Juliana Airport

I am guessing it's Great Bay Marina since that's the only one that makes sense but I want to be 100% positive.

I'd also like to forward a piece of advice to you as well.

I'm normally a person who cannot get lost. I have a very solid sense of where I'm at and what is in what direction from me.

On our bus tour, I was hard pressed to be able to keep track. Make sure you have good maps and know preciceley where you're going as island road layouts are very confusing away from the port if you're going to drive yourself.

Well yes, you need to take a map with you, but it wasn't all <i>that</i> bad. I never found the road that goes up to the mountaintop, but I didn't otherwise have any problem getting around. And besides, the whole island is only 30 square miles. You can't get <i>too</i> lost.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the advice. I am definitely going to get a map. I just hate being tied to a tour schedule so this will work out great for us. Plus, my kids are really excited about getting a jeep!
