We were on the Magic last April and brought back 6 bottles of Guavaberry from St. Marteen. Our supply is halfway depleted and as this heatwave rolls on it threatens to go even faster. Has anyone ordered from their website? It's a lot more expensive, plus shipping, or do you know where I can get it other than going on another cruise? We are booked on the Western next year (it was a tough decision not to return for the guavaberry!!) Thanks.

I just went to the website and ordering online is significantly higher, Wow! I may be mistaken but I think you can only buy Guavaberry liquor from the Guavaberry emporium or make another visit to St. Maarten where the Guavaberry is grown locally. HTH

YES, another guavaberry lover! I did order a case of 12 from the website, for about $200 with shipping. It ships out of a warehouse in Miami I believe. Took about 2 weeks delivery time.
They packed it very well in bubble wrap and double boxed it and the customer service was good.
It is quite expensive if ordering by the bottle (I think it comes out to $30 per bottle with the shipping), but a case comes out to a reasonable price per bottle if you really like the stuff.

Thanks Northsouth, you answered my question. A case is more than we need anytime soon, although we bought one of those smoothie makers by Back to Basics and they make a great Guavaberry Colada. Hubby has been making them for everyone that walks in our house lately so our stock has been depleting faster than usual. Maybe I'll order the full case and give it out as Christmas presents since everyone enjoys them (the coladas) so much.

It's the national liqueur of St Maarten. It's made from rum, cane sugar, and the guavaberries that are indiginous to St Maarten. They sell a lot of it to the tourists, and U.S. Customs regulations allow you to bring back more than your usual allowance of liquor if some of the liquor you're bringing back is Guavaberry.

They also sell hot sauces in addition to the guavaberry liquor. When you're in St. Maarten it's hard to miss the shop. They give free samples but after a taste you'll want a regular drink. My husband who does not enjoy fruity tropical drinks loves this stuff, hence why I need to order more!

How did I miss this thread? I guess I was down at WDW when this thread was first posted. I love Guavaberry Coladas. In January I picked up two bottles and one is already gone. I expect that the other one won't survive DIScon 2002.
I'm glad to hear of your positive experience with the website. As my DW Sue pointed out, $200 is a whole lot less expensive than a 7-day Disney Cruise.
