I have been working with Donna (the great) at DU on my 2003 cruise. I made my initial ressies with them many months ago. They had the best price. I read on the board last week about the $50 new cruiser deposit. Donna immediately responded to the e-mail I sent her about it and had my room credited with the $50. Then last night I read about people checking the Disney site for cruise rates. I checked and Disney was cheaper on the internet by about $100 for the cabin. Again I e-mailed Donna last night. I received e-mail from her this morning (the 4th of July no less). She rebooked my cruise for me at the lower fare. She is great. She is fast. I really love working with the people at DU and I highly recommend them.

I agree that Donna and Dreams are great. She was our agent for our Wonder cruise last May and for our upcoming Western next May. I was really happy to be working with her again.

We transferred the cruise we booked through DCL for 12/15/02 to DU since they would give us the same military disounted price, then the $50 rebate on top of that. I thought that was great. And, what really made me transfer over to DU was their quick, friendly, and complete responses to my e-mails. They were great! Carole helped me with all my questions very promptly until what must have been very late for her.

I sure appreciated her help!

I must have missed the posting about the $50 new cruiser credit. Could you explain what that is?

thanks!

The $50 is a first time cruiser. We called our TA and mentioned the 'REF' code and rec'd the credit for all 5 of our cabins.

I know I've read it somewhere before BUT is this an on-board credit or a rebate applied towards the final payment?

THe new cruiser credit is a DCL promo and will be an on-baord credit.

Thank you, thank you :)

We booked our cruise on points and I thought I wouldn't be able to use the code but it worked. Hooray! :bounce:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :D

I just called DVC MS and told them I had booked through points and wanted to use a $50 onboard credit for first time cruisers being offered by DCL. I told them the code REF and after being on hold for a few minutes, they said all taken care of :)

Happy day :)

I just got off the phone with member services and they told me no. I even had him double check and he still came back and said no.

What's up with that????

that is so bizarre!!

I would call back and talk to another MS. I've read on the boards sometimes different MS's give different information. Hmmm....
