Just curious--does anyone else name their vacations? :confused3
In the early planning stages for our June trip--I named it "The Great Disney Escape 2009". With the economy and everyone worried about their jobs it just seemed appropriate. My brother surprised all of us with t-shirts with all of the Disney characters with the caption "The Great Disney Escape 2009." They also bought the photopass album and the name is also listed on the front of the album.
My husband surprised me with a trip in early December--I have always wanted to go at Christmastime. Now I have been trying to come up with a name for our Dec trip, but have not come up with anything I really like.

Yes, I always do. I think of some names, get an unused folder, and put all info for that vacation in there to take with us. I won't tell you some of the names, they are corny! Our family votes on the name which is then written on the folder.

AAAAHHHHH, that is great of your DH to surprise you like that. My DH did the same thing for me. My B-day is in Dec. and so for my B-day present he booked another trip (was there in March already) for the family because I have always wanted to see Disney during the Christmas season :cool1:. As for a name, that is a good idea especially since we will probably be making T-shirts. However, we usually come up with the generic type names to put on stuff like "Christmas trip 2009" or something of that fact. Good luck.

How about the Dreaming of a White Dismas trip? Or Our Merry Dismas Trip?
