Telephone booked hotel reservations help!

Hi,

I have booked the HNY through telephone using the number provided on the Disneyland Paris website.

Can anyone confirm whether the final balance after paying the 10% deposit is deducted in full from your card at the given balance due date? Or do you have to phone in and make payments/instalments yourself? I have paid using credit card, if that makes any difference?

When we booked with a card over the phone, they took the 10% deposit and gave us a date that the remaining would be taken from the credit card. We didn't have to phone back up. The date they gave us, is when the money was deducted :)

Same as above.

Your balance will be automatically taken on the day that the balance is due unless you pay before that date. You can call and pay installments if you want to up until that date and then the balance will be taken on the due date.

You can also call the day before and pay using a different card if you needed to. I had to do this for my October as I used by debit card for the deposit and needed to put the balance on my credit card instead.

As already said, the balance is usually taken out automatically on the date they give you. However, if you do this please check they do take it as my balance was due the end of July and by the end of the first week of August it still wasn't showing up on my credit card statement. I rang Disney and was told the money hadn't been taken and when I asked why they said "don't know" - really helpful!! I was then told in no uncertain terms that I had to pay there and then and was asked for my credit card details that they already had on their system. Although it was Disney's fault for not taking the balance when they said they would, I was made to feel as if it was my fault.
