My daughter turned 8 on August 3rd. Usually I have a birthday party for about 20 kids with games, cake, etc. for her. However this year since we are going to Disney, she asked if she could celebrate her birthday at Disney instead of having a party with her friends at home.

I thought we'd pick a day during our trip in November and that would be her birthday celebration day. I plan on ordering a cake for dinner that day and get her a birthday button. I think that is pretty amazing that at 8 she's willing to wait 4 months to celebrate her birthday so I want to make it extra special for her.

So I have another idea... How about a personalized t-shirt for her to wear on her day!!!

This is where I need brain-storming help on what the shirt should say. Here's what I've come up with:

I'VE WAITED SINCE AUGUST 3RD TO CELEBRATE MY 8TH BIRTHDAY TODAY AT DISNEY!

As you can see, I need help. Maybe not so wordy but still get the point across that she's waited so long to celebrate, get her name in there somehow.... I'd like it quick to read so maybe CM's will read it, know her name, wish her happy birthday and make a fuss over her for waiting, etc.

Thanks!!!!

Sorry, I was out of town and didn't see this. We actually have an entire forum dedicated to t-shirts and such, so I will forward this to that forum. It's called Creative DISigns.

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner!

Most of the DISigners have Birthday DISigns
taekwondo mom has my favorites :) look for any posts with her name and in her siggy she has a link to her photobucket with lots of the images, I'm sure she'd be happy to personalize them for you :)

We will be celebrating my son's 8th Birthday at Disney next year :) I plan to make him a shirt with a DISign on the front and on the back a big #8 that is wearing a Mickey Bday hat/ears :) Goodluck!

Here you go no trouble at all!

There's a really great thread in this forum "Creative Disigns" about how to transfer them, its a sticky so it should be at the top! It's just all about printing them on transfer paper and ironing them on the shirt :) Have a great vacation!
