VEA - pay on the day?

For those of you who have used the VEA shuttle bus from Charles de Gaulle to the park, is it possible to pay on the day? If we do it this way, is there a chance we'll have to wait for the next available bus and not necessarily go on the one that's there? :confused:

I have never advance-booked the VEA, always paid the driver as I've got on the coach. I've never had to wait for a coach because one was filled up before I got on it, and I've never been asked by either the driver or a VEA attendant, if I have prepaid.

to be honest i would be wary of prepaying as i have heard of people who had prepaid but ended up having to get a taxi after buses being full or not turning up.

Used them twice for return trips and had to wait over an hour each time. Annoying when you are itching to get to the park - worrying when you are wanting to get to the airport.

Shared private transfers are only slightly more expensive than the bus and much better!

Thanks guys! That's really helpful. We had thought about having a shared transfer but we can't really afford to pay out much more before we go, so using the VEA and paying on the day is ideal for us. Thank you for your replies. Getting very excited now!!

the transfer we have booked we pay the driver , half on journey from airport and half on way back , so no upfront payment either . couldnt bear the thought of the vea with two little children and two cases , plus cost was hardly much different. we are using ISprestige.
