DCA Question

I have just checked out the opening hours for both DL & DCA for when we are going to be there & noticed that on the Sunday DCA is open until 8pm, but they have an Electricial Parade on at 8.45pm. If the gates close at 8pm how do you get to see the parade? Are you allowed to stay in the park after closing or what?

Also, not knowing anything about this parade, is it a worthwhile thing to see??

My guess is there's a typo somewhere - either on the closing time or the Parade time. Check again and if it's still like that, you can call to confirm. The Parade is definitely worth it! It is a definite highlight during our visits and we always make time to see it at least once while we're there. My 2 year old thinks it's magical!

I'm guessing it's not a typo ... all of the Sunday hours starting 09/08 appear to have DCA closing at 8 PM with an 8:45 PM parade.

It is possible that the rides will all shut down at 8 PM and they will start "escorting" guests out of the various areas of DCA, allowing guests to remain along the parade route (or shopping in Greetings!).

We've stayed after closing to eat in MK at WDW, so I wouldn't be surprised if they allowed parade viewing after official closing.
