Glad to see you back on the boards. I know you've been on here and there, but I'm glad your recovery is progressing enough that you can look at the computer more. Hope it continues to go smoothly. It's always good to have you back! :thumbsup2

Happy to have you back Kevin! Been keeping you in my thoughts and hoping that you'd be up and about and back to your normal self soon, and from looks of it on the boards, it seems as if you are at least somewhat!

Hi folks...

Thanks for the warm Welcome back.

I'm on the road to recovery. I can read the computer as it's backlit and nice and bright.

Eventually, I'll be good as new...well newish.

I have two guys that deserve all of the credit.....my eye DR and John. I wouldn't be here without them.

I remember when my mom got a torn retina after her cataract surgery, the doctor was explaining about putting the "buckle" on her eye and I was like "What?! A buckle around her eye?!" and then the bubble and everything, it was all so scary, but in the end, it's really amazing to have a procedure that saves so many people's eyesight. The recovery really sucks, but it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the alternative.

Hope you have a quick recovery. The podcast is just not the same without your witticisms. Maybe you can do a dinning reviews of restaurants that deliver or have you been getting home cooked meals.

The Kindle is a ways off.

I'm ok reading on the computer due to the bright back lighting.

Books. magazines, the Kindle etc are more difficult at the moment.

But I'll get there.

I feel so out of the loop having been away for 11 days, but glad to hear you're recovering. I'm sorry you had to deal with this again. Thankfully, you have John to help take care of you.
