not sure if you remember me telling you last yr we had our money taken from us by our wedding planner who then went bust :sad2:
well were told our location had been paid for before the wedding planner went bust ..this being the reason we carried on with our plans to get married ........received an email from our new wedding planner at the weekend telling me the location isnt now paid for so we have to pay another $321 for the location
but i had received an email from the lady at celebration and a lady at the better business beaurea telling me also this has been paid which i have showed the lady at celebration ......
but today she has email me saying no payment has been paid at all ..........we cant really afford anymore money out as we are right on our budget for spending and other bills while out there
any advice would be great guys :)

hi just an update for you all after all the pd you have given us ..the location lady couldnt find any record of any type that the previous wedding planner had paid anything
so we came to a comprise and they said we could pay $150 instead of the $321....which we have done so we are getting married after all :lovestruc

So sorry to hear this is happening when you should be getting excited about your upcoming trip/wedding :hug: I would try and get some concrete proof, like a receipt from the Celebration/Better Business Bureau people and forward a copy of this to the wedding planner as it may have more 'clout' than an E-mail.

Really hope you get it sorted! What a nightmare just before your Wedding!

Did you get any wedding insurance or anything that might cover it?

If not i would just try and get something concrete proof if you can.
