Sharing on the DP?

It's almost time to make my reservations. So far we know we want HDD for 2 TS, but we're curious: Can you share one meal and just use 1 TS(not at HDD)? There are a lot of restaurants taht we'd love to go to, but we're only going to be there 4nights/5 days The meals are so huge I think I'll be happier if I just get half the entree and fill the meal out with a salad*which I will pay OOP for*

Probably, unless it's a buffet or an all you can eat place. Beaches & Cream apparently doesn't allow sharing on the dining plan but it's the only one we are hearing about that consistently does that.
