How we met: Well we met back when I was still in high school. We would always hang out at the ice rink in town and his friend ended up bringing him even though he didnt really want to go. lol. Then he said he met me and kept going back every weekend. I was dating someone else at the time, of course. lol He kept going and the person I was with wasnt the best BF if you know what I mean. lol Anyways... I started talking to Matthew and instantly fell in love. We have been inseperable ever since.

Well we have been together for about 9 years now and finally decided to get married. Our family has always been huge disney fans. We were planning a vacation at Disney World next year and we both decided why not get married at the happiest place on earth! So we figured have the vacation/honeymoon/wedding all in one place! And so the planning begins!!!

We called Disney after doing some research on everything. Our planner called us back the next day. We are now talking with Pam Pearce. She is a sweetheart from what i hear on her messages hehe. I work late so its hard to get in contact. We are planning on have the wedding in May of next year!! Here it goes!

We sat down and wrote down how much everything would be and when it was due. We then budgeted how much we could afford each month. We are feeling really good about paying for the wedding and even more important I now know we can save for a house next year.

That dress is beautiful!!!

From January to September next year we will be paying bits off each month, so we know exactly whats going out and when.

I have such small hands that I didnt want anything huge on it..

I also talked to Pam today and set some dates and then she will get back with me on whats available. We are going to try do a 2:30 wedding with the dessert party.

We will have a reception dinner but with our own reservations since we will be getting the dinning with our vacation package. Maybe save a little money that way too. Anyways let me know what ya think! ;)

Anyways...I dont actually start planning with the planner until Sept so forgive me for lack of information on the first page and throughout the thread. I am gathering ideas for right now. Getting some color ideas looking at jewlery. Ya know how that goes.

These are the invitations we bought as a kit but then I put my own dinsey touch to it... We found this mickey hole punch and I was like awesome! And then I found the little mickey head jewels in black and silver.

Of course this isnt our names this is just the demo to see what it would look like... I am thinking about adding a turquoise bow instead of the gray one to add some pop. I was also going to use the disney font instead of the formal looking font... Kit comes with RSVP cards and envelopes and all. Here are some pics I took...Let me know what you think....

Ha! I almost feel like we are wedding twins or something! :lmao: I have been looking around at dresses and there were two at Alfred Angelo that I really really liked - that is one of them! Also, we have the same engagement ring! The only difference is that the 3 stones on top of mine are emerald cut instead of princess cut.

I have to say, if you liked the dress in the picture, I thought it was much lovelier in person. It wasn’t even one that I picked out, my sister did and made me try it on, once it was on I really liked it. Its very flattering.

Yeah they are from wedding paper divas. You should go with pink and orange. I love bright colors. It looks so good with the white dress and black tuxedos. Pink and brown are also a good combo though too. Sounds like your in a pickle! hehe

Well Last weekend I went to best buy to buy a power cord cable for my printer so I could start on the invitations. Welll drove there and they didnt have it and the guy said I would have to go and buy one from the manufacture. Which would be HP. So I thought I could find one on ebay...nope.... notta one. So I thought ok I will have to pay full price then and buy it from HP. I couldnt even find it from HP. I cant find the darn thing anywhere.

You should really be careful to blur your last name on your invitations and remove your location from your avatar. I know you shouldn't have to think about this stuff, but I've learned in the past year or so that there's a lot of crazy out there reading the dis. While I wouldn't worry about anyone harming you, I would be concerned about being stalked all over the interwebs.

Good luck with your wedding planning, everything looks great and I'm sure you will be a beautiful bride. :)

These are the invitations we bought as a kit but then I put my own dinsey touch to it... We found this mickey hole punch and I was like awesome! And then I found the little mickey head jewels in black and silver.

Of course this isnt our names this is just the demo to see what it would look like... I am thinking about adding a turquoise bow instead of the gray one to add some pop. I was also going to use the disney font instead of the formal looking font... Kit comes with RSVP cards and envelopes and all. Here are some pics I took...Let me know what you think....

I like the shade of pink in the first photo.
The hot pink in the third pink is too bright for my tastes. However, it's not too bad against the blue dress. I don't like it against the pink dress.

The cake isn't too bad. But if you were to add blue to it, it would be way too over the top. If you took out of green and maybe the orange too it would be okay with blue added into the mix. With too many colors it would look like a Skittles wedding.

Well sorry I havent posted anything in a while. I have some bad news. Due to cost reasons for us and family members we have decided to have a local wedding instead of a disney one. :( I am not to bummed though. With the money I save I can have more money to make it custom and do it how I want it. But I will still keep you updated on everything.

On a positive note. My mom and brother flew out last week and stayed for a week so me and my mom could start doing some wedding shopping. I found my dress!!! I put the deposit on it and ordered it. I ended up buyin a alfred angelo dress. I tried on like 20 dresses at davids and none of them did for me. Felt cheap and they wanted the money in full to order it. Kinda weird. I would post a picof the dress but I am affraid my honey would go on here and see it. lol.

We also found the venue we are going to have it at. I have a couple of videos that I will post of other weddings so you can see the venue. Everything will be held there. Ceremony and reception.

Yeah I agree. Only a few people would be able to go too. Since its local we can have everyone we want there.

Thats also something I didnt like was you kinda had to bend around their rules and I wanted it to be custom to what we like and our personality. I am very happy with my decision. :)
