Has anyone been to Hotel Royal Plaza lately?

Booked Hotel Royal Plaza for husband and I while my mom, sister and kids are staying at Contemporary. My husband and I are only staying a few nights prior to leaving for a cruise while kids, mom and sister stay at Disney. Booked HRP through mousesavers and with tax, etc, paying $92 per night. Husband does not want to stay at All Stars. We wanted to stay "on site" but if I can get a code for after 10/2, will try to get a moderate, we are arriving on 10/11.
Any advise? Do you think I should try priceline as it gets closer?

I just booked at the Royal thru Mousesaver's from Aug.24 thru Sept. 5th for $75.00 including the hot breakfast buffet. I was wondering if you ever stayed there before and how you liked it. My rate sounds lke a good deal. My 9 year old daughter is a water rat & we were considering staying at the Caribe off site because of their great pool & breakfast included. Still not sure what we're going to do.
