We just got home yesterday from a week at BLT! We had a fantastic vacation. It was the first time using points that we had purchased last summer. We were in a dedicated 2 bedroom on the 9th floor. Our room overlooked the pool and Bay Lake. The resort is beautiful! We can't wait to go back. I haven't downloaded my pictures yet, but will try to post some when I do. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. We are going to BLT on points next July and have been enjoying every one's trip reports. Do you have any pictures of the "famous" bathroom door gap?

We always get excited reading trip reports about BLT! Did you go to the Top of the World Lounge, and was it crowded? Looking forward to seeing your photos!

Can't wait to see the pictures - although I probably shouldn't look because when I looked at DVCMike's pictures I started coming down with a case of addonitis. So far I've been able to fight it off by checking what zillow estimates my townhouse is worth but sooner or later I'll get numb to that.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.....We will be there in January in a dedicated 2 BR LV. Can not wait after seeing DVC Mike's pictures. Was the trek to the monorail as long as it looked? I am thinking it will be faster to walk to MK.

It will surely be faster to walk to MK as the monorail goes from the Contemporary to the TTC, Poly and Grand Floridian before arriving at MK.

I'm wondering about the balcony area in a dedicated two bedroom unit. Is it off of the living room, or across the whole unit? We are looking forward to our 2010 trip.

There is no balcony off the living room, but a large floor to ceiling glass window.

All of the units at BLT have the balcony off of the bedrooms. So in the 2BR you have two balconies that are not connected. There is a doorway from the living room to the master bedroom's balcony. Here's a link to the two BR floorplan.

Is there also a balcony off the second bedroom in a dedicated two bedroom. I did look at the floor plan that was posted but couldn't tell if that was a lock off studio or dedicated two bedroom. Thanks for all the information.

DH, DD and I are looking forward to staying at BLT but we will have to wait until March. We requested a MK view but have heard that people really like the lake view. Like everyone else here-looking forward to pictures.

How did the two beds fit in the Studio section of the dedicated 2 Bedroom villas? I have seen the pictures of the Studio villas with the couch and cannot figure how two beds fit in that area. Also is the Bathroom/Kitchenette section set up diffrently in the decicated 2 bedroom villas?

Thanks

It doesn't have a kitchenette, so that makes a difference. Here's one of the few photos I've seen: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11438118@N00/3781383283

Obviously, without the kitchenette, the bathroom set-up is different. ;)
