View Full Version : Upgrading Child DDP to Adult??

Hi, have searched around but cant seem to find an answer on this
We have booked with Disney UK, 8 nights at OKW for Aug 2010 with free dining.
DD will be 10 so will be on the adult plan.
DS will be 9, and gets very bored with the choice on the kids menus. Can I pay to upgrade his dining plan to an adult???
Sorry if this has been asked before.

If you upgrade them you will have to upgrade their tickets to adults and change their date of birth with them.

You would have to ring them to know for definite they may want to charge an amendment fee and then re-calculate all your pricing.

i did this for dd 6 (shell be 7) for our trip next aug. the kids menus are foul, imho and she would not eat anything, upgraded for about £1 per day.
they did tell me that i would have to upgrade (which i did) before the 15th aug, which is when the free ddp offer finished. upgrading was not an issue at all, but they might have an issue about the date- or you may have to wait for the next round of free ddp to start.
My ds was 9 last year and quite a heafty eater, if you are concerned about volume rather than choice, you ll be fine, we coped there was far too much food, and we were left with about 8 cs meals left at the end of our stay.
i would recommend checking out the kids menus on here or allears, they are very ltd, and if your kids are into other things other than mac n cheese or burgers, upgrade!
