I am finding my comfort zone with my new lens and we're headed off to Disney in a week+. If you have any, can you give me a preview?

I'd love to see some as well, I am currently deciding on whether to get it or not before we leave in 2 weeks.

I think you'll find that many of us Nikon users have the 30mm 1.4 Sigma. I bought mine when the 35mm 1.8 didn't exist. Sorry I couldn't help you...
FWIW though, I really love the Sigma, and you'll need it, or something close to it, if you plan on taking photos in dark rides. I know the Sigma is also a very decent portrait lens as well...

Thanks for that information. I have left the house all weekend with only the 35/1.8 attached and left the camera bag behind. I think I'm falling in love!:lovestruc I'm really looking forward to getting those low light shots that I have just avoided on past trips!

I almost took mine over to DHS last weekend- but changed my mind at the last second. It really is a fun lens- I need to get it to Disney one of these days.

I am going to buy one this week for our trip in 12 days. I like to shoot signs, dark rides, not your normal tourist type things. I cant wait.

Those are great shots! I really like the Haunted Mansion shot and the one with the castle. :thumbsup2
