This really is a "for a friend" question :)

A friend of mine has progressed enough in her weight loss that she wants to up the strenght training. She had been doing full body every other day. But now would like to do more exercises per body group split into 2 sep days.

So question is, how should she divide all upper body muscle groups into 2 workouts?

go three days, which gave all the parts enough rest,and coupled a large group with a small group.

Legs/Shoulders

Back/Biceps

Chest/Triceps

Abs every day.

That always worked for me!

I would say that perhaps, "your friend", could do a push day and a pull day. The push day invloves muscle groups that push the weights away from the core like chest, triceps and quads. The pull day focus is on back, biceps and hamstrings.

There is always an upper body day and a lower body day if that suites her.
