I was just wondering once you're booked and Disney knows they've got you, do you think that lessens your chances of getting a PIN Code offer before your check in dates?

I dont think so, I booked free dining for september and a few months later I got a pin code with the october thru december dates free dining and the values were for regular dp.

I also got a PIN after I had booked. I was able to save $300 with that PIN (before I switched to the free dining promotion later announced for my trip - another $100 - woohoo!).

I don't think so. I've received 3 different pin codes since booking our Sep trip.

We have received PINS after we have a trip booked. Of course we always have a trip booked. ;)

I got a 40% PIN for our 2008 trip about 5 months after we booked (7 months before the trip.)

I booked my December trip in May using a Goofy pin code (adults at kid prices). I then got the free dining pin code about 3 weeks before the Disney Visa free dining was offered. I'm now on the looking for the free dining with 40% off code. Wish me luck! I got the other codes quite a while after others were reporting getting them so I figure I'm farther down the pin code list, but at least I'm on there. I'm hoping that eventually they'll get far enough down the list to send this one to me.

I'm the type of person that these promotions work on to Disney's advantage. I don't just keep my vacation as-is and pocket the discount. I extend my trip and end up paying even a bit more or add on luxuries that I wouldn't otherwise have in my budget. They get more money out of me by giving me an even better deal. Is anybody from the magical world of pin codes reading this? I'll spend even more money if you give me an even better pin code. LOL!!

I don't think so either. We have received them while booked already. It's not like Princess cruise line. They don't even send email sales out while you are booked!! WDW sends them, sometimes to many in the household!! THey even still send them in my maiden name even though I've had 2 APs and been there quite a few times since!! No rhyme or reason how WDW sends them!! I also am registered at WDW site with the Married name!! They must work off old lists as well!
