Will I am make the park on the first day

Hi.

We are arriving into CDG at 1.30 on Tuesday 13th Oct. We have booked a private transfer and are staying as the sequoina lodge.

Do you think we will make the park that day ????

I would say you should have at least an hr or two at the parks , if they close at 7pm

depends you may feel its not worth it after all the travelling etc

Even if you only get one ride on Pirates of the Caribbean and wonder at the majesty of the Castle it will make it all worthwhile - go for it!

I think even if we only would make 10 mins there we'd still try and make it !

Thanks for that....If we don't dawdle and the check in is not too long (any idea how long it normally takes?) then we should be OK

You should get a couple of hours in the park easily. I reckon you'll be onsite by 2.30 - 2.45pm. Check in depends on the CM you get as well as how lengthy the queues are.
I will keep my fingers crossed that you get an unfriendly one who just wants to do his/her job. ;)
When we arrived a day late due to a cancelled flight, the CM noted it had been DS's birthday the day before too, made a really big thing about how we should pretend it was today instead and called all the other CM's over as they came passed/walked by and explained and then thay sang Happy Birthday and DS ended up with a pocket full of sweets. It was really nice and so kind but all I could think about was getting into the park ASAP as we'd lost 24 hours and had a lunch booking at the Lucky Nugget, but top marks to the CM for making the effort.:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

The walk from Sequoia is lovely but at that time of the day the shuttle buses will be empty so maybe a quicker option to get to the park gates. :)

i can kind of help with this!
we arrived at 1.30 also! we caught the vea back to sante fe, went to hotel room, got changed and fed baby etc, and we were in the park for 3.30! And that was with a 4 year old and a baby!
so yes you should be fine!

i always arrive at that time and i am in the park for 3. its only a 30 minute ride from the airport, about 30 minutes to pick up your bags and check in has always been brisk for me.

And its definitely worth going to the parks on your first day, you'll get about 4 hours worth of Magic in :goodvibes!

We always go on our first day. Generally with driving we get there around 5pm and the parks close around 7pm...after check-in we often only get and hour in the parks but it is so worth it.

I agree with everyone else, we had a private transfer from CDG and it was excellent as it only took us 30mins to get to our hotel then check in was fairly simple and quick.
I couldn't bare the thought of getting there and not going straight into the park even if it is only enough time for one ride and a nose at the castle...:thumbsup2

well you will have plenty of time without hand luggage. that wastes about 30 minutes as my bags are always the very last. it must be because we are always the first to check in so they are back in the back lol
