Sorry, another question or two: If I order transfers from Amy, how do I know if the disigners' disigns are done on transparent or with white background (unless an obvious colored background)?

The reason I asked, I was told by a professional to be careful in the way that say you have a disign w/yellow on it, but is transparent. Then the yellow may look different and if red is in the disign it may not show, the color of the shirt will show through, etc., etc. So, now panick has struck. :scared1:

Do the transfers purchased from Amy print white or change a color as stated above if "transparent"? HELP!!!!

My transfers are dark transfers - which means that the background of the paper is white. This means that anything that is white in the design or lack of color (transparent) will be white. Picture printing your design on a white sheet of paper. Whatever white you do not trim off will be white on your shirt.

The transparent or clear background is on LIGHT transfers. This means that all white areas or lack of color will be the color of the shirt.

I hope this helps make a little more sense. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask.

They were originally saved in png. with a transparent background, but when I sent them to you via email in word I saved them with a white background. Hope that helps. :)

:worship::worship::worship::worship: to both of you and all of the disigners!!! Thank you for putting up with all my stupid questions and concerns.

So, Amy, just a simple clarification... I will NOT HAVE problems w/ any disigns (transparent or not) using your dark transfer papers. It'll just be white unless another color is used--- do I understand it correctly?! :dance3:

The only stupid question is one that is never asked. Ask away - that is how we all learned.

Yes, anything that is not a color WILL be white on my transfers. So, it will not matter whether the background is transparent or white - it will still be just white.
