Little bump. I will post the answer tomorrow evening after I get back from work. I think everybody who was on holiday should be back by tomorrow the latest.

DLRP Magic says it's Casey Jnr ...
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guidebook/disneyland-park/fantasyland/casey-jr-le-petit-train-du-cirque/
... so does the From Sketch to Reality book
Though while I was checking I did see Space Mountain given as well

This is the bit from DLRP Magic ...
"Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque was the first roller coaster in the world to feature a synchronised on-board audio system. As Casey climbs the initial hill, "I think I can, I think I can.." plays, before the full "Casey Jr." song begins with the downward descent. This successfully tested the concept for Imagineers before they put it to much greater use at Space Mountain in 1995."

I was looking long and hard for any evidence pointing to Casey Jr. once the answers started to come in. I went through pages of articles on the ride and not one mentioned an onboard soundtrack. I also have to say that I have done the ride a few times and cannot recall ever seeing any speakers on the ride vehicles themselves.
However, based on the link posted by MinnieMouse73, I have given everybody who replied Casey Jr. a point as well.

Thank you :cool1: Sorry I realised that my posts last night seemed a bit rude - it was late, I was just about to go to bed and just posted quickly :upsidedow
I definitely recall singing the song as we went round the ride! "Casey Junior's back, Casey Junior's back" :cool1:

It's also on p.222 of From Sketch to Reality :thumbsup2
I must admit I checked several places for this answer as my first thought was that it was Space Mountain, but I tend to think of the book as being correct so when it said Casey Jnr in there (as well as on DLRP Magic) I thought it must be right - especially as they both say it was then used later in Space Mountain (so it's not just that they have forgotten about SM!).

No offense taken at all. To be honest, I was just glad that somebody could point me in the right direction. I was driving myself mad trying to find evidence that it was Casey Jr.
