Do some of the Epcot restaurants have counter service meals - like Toyko, Yakitori House, England's fish and chips, or San Angel Inn?????? It would be wonderful to eat something other than burgers and hotdogs for our counter/quick service meals while on the Dining Plan! Just checking out my options! :-)

Yes! Pretty much every country in Epcot has a counterservice restaurant (Italy doesn't and I think they are missing a huge opportunity there). Happy eating!

We love CS in Epcot, definitely a change from the usual theme park food.
Mexico, Norway, China, Japan, Germany, Morocco, UK, France, and USA have full CS locations. Nothing in Canada or Italy.

Depending on the size of your group and tastes, you may want to consider Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot. It is a food court with a number of stations. From what I understand fountain drinks include free refills (just like at the resorts).
Sunshine Season serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We just got back Aug 5 from at 10 days stay and let me tell you we did quick service meals, we only had Hamburgers one time, we loved eating at England's fish and chips and Sunshine Seasons while we were at Epcot.
We found we had tons of food and there was always counter service at most of the country in Epcot.

The quick service counter in Morroco is great (I think it's called Tangerine Cafe). The portions are so big that you can easily split a meal. Fish and chips in the UK are tasty, although there aren't many places to sit down and eat. If it's not too hot, the outdoor dining at the Japan quick service is very nice and restful: a shady landscaped area with a fountain, tucked away from the crowds. Great place to let the kids relax and let the grownups regroup.

Tangierine Cafe!! Food is fresh, hot foods are hot and the cold, cold. Good size portions. I love the hummus and couscous. I used to spend $17.00 for a meal here but it is included with the DDP as counter service!

How do you feel about sauerkraut? Sommerfest (Germany) has great brats and kraut plus you can pay OOP for a ice cold German beer. Instead of eating right beside, we carry our trays over to the outdoor tables by the water to eat. I think DH would eat here daily if I let him
Edited to add: Black Forest cake and Apple Strudel too - always get the cake, moist chocolate cake, whipped cream, cherries, icing. Drool.
