My husband and I just celebrated our honeymoon on the Western Caribbean cruise. It was so much fun, and so difficult to go back to the real world! We can't wait to go on another cruise, hopefully soon!

So glad you liked it. We're going in March...Eastern, though. What were your favourite things? I feel I'm overplanning already, by reading these posts and making lists and checking them twice. I want it to be relaxing, not do this,do this, do this. It's my type A behaviour and my desire to try to make everything perfect for my family. Again, glad you had fun!

I'm generally a planner, but did not do so for the cruise. There are too many things to do, so just pick a few highlights, and then go with the flow.
We loved Disney Dreams, did a spa villa morning, and saw one of the variety shows.
Note...pools seem to be nice and quiet during dinner time.

Hope you have a great time!

I just did the 7 day western. I found it not as relaxing as I thought - there was too much to do! If I knew I was going again soon it may have been different, but we won't be able to do another one for at least a couple of years, so I didn't want to miss anything. Basically, our days consisted of daytime activities (either port or pools and lunch), then in the evening - the show or movie in WD theatre at 6, a variety act in the Rockin D club at 7, and then dinner at 8:15 (we had late dinner, if you have early than it is reversed). You get done after 10 and then you can watch a late movie either outside in ariel visition or in the smaller buena vista theater. Anyway, I had much less down time than I thought. If we go again I'll skip some of the shows and spend more time just lounging outside. I had one moment when there was a band playing outside in the afternoon on a sea day and I laid down on a lounger and watched the clouds go by - that and the spa were a couple of the times I did not feel like I was preoccupied with "what comes next,". But overall, it is a trip of a lifetime that I would not have missed.
