:confused3Wow--- thats all I can say. My DH and I JUST decided that we can go to WDW for Christmas this year- since the kids and I have always wanted to. Well... checking reservations (with the special offers for either room discount or CL upgrade) on the WDW site is showing nothing and I mean NOTHING is open except Beach Club mostly....we were looking for 4 days at either WL, GF, or CR.
This leads me to my question.....is there really that many peoplegoing during those times???? So many that the availability is scarce?? I was hoping to find an off time prior to Thanksgiving to go, but after Christmas decor is up. Any suggestions?? Much THANKS!!

I would assume that Disney doesn't have to offer discounts at that time of year. But, I really don't know. I'm going Nov. 29 - Dec. 5 and I got a AAA discount.
Hey I'm from south Louisiana too!! But now living in the Houston area.

Christmas is a busy time, but if you can get a deal at BC it is beautiful there. I would take that over CR or WL. The full Christmas decorations are in full swing right after T-day. It is a great time of the year to go, enjoy!

Those are holiday room rates. I've never seen discounts for hoildays and they are usually block out anyway. Plus all the promotions going on, everyone and their brother is going to WDW. Holiday rate are the highest rate for all the rooms, more than peak season.

MickFan- that is one set of dates we are looking at. My family is from Prairieville area...almost a part of BR now though!!
Disney54us- what is great about BC? For us its not on the monorail which is the big downfall. We love the "home feel" of WL. Please advise. Thanks....
