Not going crazy here yet, but I did fill the water jugs today, gonna gas up the car later.

Tomorrow Shrek is gonna take the gas and propane tanks to be filled. We are set on canned goods!

After Charlie, Francis, and Jeanne, I'm not taking any chances!

We checked the hurricane kit this weekend, we should be good. Can't believe how late in the season it is for the first named storm.

At least the storms waited to show up after we had our great week in the state of Florida! We started at Ft. Lauderdale, went to Lake Worth, saw Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee. From there we went to Kennedy Space Center, spent the night in Leesburg and then went to Zephyrhills to hang with some relatives. We checked out the Homassas Springs Wildlife Refuge and then drove through Alligator Alley to catch our flight back home in Ft. Lauderdale. Whew! Only the occasional thunderstorm hampered our trip!

We've been at Vero Beach all weekend, so aren't ready in the least. Yeah, yeah, I know... should have the hurricane supplies ready and all that.

We're really bad about that. I'm headed to SW FL for work on Monday. Wonder if I'll be driving right into it?

As for Crist... what an evil, spineless, useless man. Some day, when I'm in a bad mood, I may tell you what I really think of him!

Well the weather folks, not that they know what they are talking about, say we are in the clear for now. Ana is gonna fizzle out, and Bob is gonna go North. But anyone who remembers the Charlie, Francis, Jeanne mess will be prepared. I think you still have a few days to get home and get things ready.
