I've heard you can pick up the 16" pizza at POP for 2 CS credits (non-delivery). Is this true?
We'll be coming in late on our arrival night, and we'd like to pick up this because it seems quick and easy to share.
Also, if this is true, you'd get two desserts, right?

My hubby did this at POR for him and my kids while I was attending a conference. He used 2 CS credits and got 1 pizza, 2 drinks, & 2 desserts.
The way I understand it, this should be the same deal at all other resorts that have pizza.
This is only for pick-up.
If you get pizza delivery, it costs 2 TS credits! :scared1: (I totally think that's a waste!)

Thank you! I knew I read that somewhere, and I was just trying to confirm. :goodvibes:

Do you know how it works in regards to adult vs. child QS credits? Can you use two child QS credits for the pizza?
We're planning a picnic in the park at AK, but with that, you can only use adult credits. So I anticipate our having extra child credits and am trying to figure out what we can do with them.

Child and adult CS credits aren't technically seperate, so you just use two CS credits.

Really? That's good to know. I've been fretting a bit about the Picnic in the Park lunch. We have six in our family - 3 "Disney adults" and 3 "Disney children". I had read that this takes adult CS credits but have been wondering how it's going to work if we want to order a picnic for more than 3 people.

Do you know if pizza is offered at Bay Lake? We usually stay at Pop and have done this many times. I didn't see it available at Saratoga this summer.

That's great to know!!! I know we did it one year (delivered) and I just refuse to spend 2 TS-I'd rather pay OOP. One of the things my oldest wants to do is go back to the hotel to swim and order pizza one night. I would never agree to it because of the price. I'll have no problem just using 2 CS's! He'll be thrilled!

Thank you for the info!!!
We were not going to eat off-property and so had "budgeted" 2TS for one Down Meal without table serice.
This 2CS solution is perfect! We can just waddle doen to the food court instead !
Now I need to choose another eatery for supper! Hmm!

Just got back from Pop. I asked about the pizza and was told that whether delivered or picked up in the food court, it would be 2 TS credits, not CS credits. I guess it's possible I was misinformed, but just wanted to pass that info along.

I know if you get it delivered to your room it costs 2 TS credits, I'm not sure about picking it up though. If it costs just 2 CS credits it's totally worth it.

Yes, you can still get the pizza at Pop for 2 CS. We had 2 left to use Saturday night before driving home, and it was literally 11:55 when I walked in! You get two drinks and two desserts, but the pickins are slim that late at night. They must replenish it all in the morning.

Did this quite a bit in June. It's 2 CS. We LOVED this option.

Maybe I read wrong (totally possible) but I thought I heard you also get 2 side salads when doing this. Not true?
So..
1 whole pizza
2 side salads
2 desserts
2 drinks
Am I confusing it with the 2TS delivery? Maybe? :scratchin

You get salad and or breadsticks when you are on the DxDP. I have heard both so I don't know for sure.

We have done the Domino's 5-5-5 deal (or 7-7-7 whatever it is now) on several occasions while staying on site. You get 3 medium one topping pizzas for 5 bucks each (or the going rate) delivered to your hotel lobby. It is a good cheap meal that might allow you to save a TS credit to use on a signature restaurant. Paying 2 CS credits for one pizza is too much imo.

It's a big pizza that will feed us all though, lol. So I don't think paying 2 CS credits is bad.
We're leaving today, so when I get back I will report if we were allowed to or not.

Great!
We'll be there in a week and will check it out as well. I remember the first time we got DDP, Jan. 05 (paid for it) we were allowed a similar deal at the Spoodles pizza window (they no longer offer it) We got a large pizza, large order of breadsticks, 3 sodas (supposed to get 2 she let us have 3) and I think even a salad. It was only 2CS-a great deal! We were going to order 3 slices with 3 sodas until the CM told us about getting the whole pizza.:goodvibes
it was really nice sitting there on the Boardwalk playing DD's new Stitch Trouble game while enjoying the nice weather and people watching. We only ate about 1/2 the pizza and were actually looking for someone to give our leftover pizza to-didnt' find anyone. It was middle of the afternoon on a weekday and there weren't many people around.
I think sitting by the pool while having pizza, sodas, and desserts sounds really nice.
Hope we can fit it in.

This sounds like a great option for our family. My DH and kids love pizza, I know they will want to do this. Thanks for the info!

Has anyone ever tried to substitute the desserts/sodas? So, instead of 2 drinks and 2 desserts, 4 desserts, or 4 drinks?

We did the pizza, 2 drinks, and 2 desserts (we got 2 bowls of fruit) on our trip we just got back from. Between teh 3 of us we didn't finish the pizza.
I don't believe you'll be able to trade 2 drinks for 2 desserts. POP is pretty strict with what they allow. No leeway (that I found) unlike at GF where we were allowed to get a dessert at breakfast for one of our drinks since we had refillable mugs.
2 CS for the pizza was a very good deal, IMHO. :goodvibes

We did this at end of Aug at POP. We bought refillable mugs so we got 2 drinks of OJ and Lemonade bottles that we put in our frig and used for breakfast and to bring to the park (make sure to grab the BIG OJ if you want it - they both qualify as drinks).
Then for dessert we had our receipt stamped and returned a couple hours later (we were swimming in the pool that afternoon/evening) for ice cream. We used 2 snacks to cover the other 2 of us for dessert.
Plenty of food - good deal, IMO, as you use only 2 CS credits and it was enough for all 4 of us.
We will do it again.

That reminded me. I actually got one bowl of fruit and one popsicle as our dessert choices. Since you have to pay for the pizza before you get it I didn't want the popsicle to melt while I waited. The cashier stamped the receipt that I had 90 minutes to return to get my popsicle. Once the pizza was done, I grab the popsicle and showed the receipt to the cashier. He tore the receipt to indicte that I had gotten the dessert. Funny thing is he acted surprised that I showed him the receipt. I guess alot of guests just get their desserts and walk out without stopping.
Also at Sunshine Seasons our receipt was stamped giving us 90 minutes to return to get ice creams.
Last year we were able to return for our popsicles at both TL and BB, this year they no longer offer popsicles, or ice cream novelties, so you are stuck with chocolate cake, cheesecake, or a cookie.
