DDP Question

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't readily find the thread. I have the dining plan for my next trip but we're arriving after 10:00pm. Does the DDP apply for a late check-in since most restaurants will be closed by the time we actually get there?

As I understand it, the dining plan is based on how many nights you stay. So since you are staying that night you would get the meals.

You get all your DDP credits for the entire trip as soon as you check in, and you then have until midnight on your check-out day to use all of them or they expire. There's no rule that says you must use certain credits on certain days. They're available for use for the entire length of your trip.
