Hi all

Its my 30th birthday on Wednesday next week and yesterday I found out my husband and family have been in cahoots and arranged me a surprise trip to DLRP!!! I am SO excited! I just love Disney - what better way to spend my birthday!!!

I have a few questions because we will be taking my little guy Toby who is only 3.5months old!!!

His buggy - its a fairly bulky one and set us back a fair amount and I am worried about leaving it outside the rides / shows etc. We are loath to spend another £60-100 on one which Toby can easily use - needs to be a "from birth, lie flat" buggy as he's still so young. Also its quite big and I am worried about Eurostar giving us bother in terms of storing it etc. Any thoughts / advice???

Rides / Shows - is there a lot a 3.5month old can do? Can we take him in the shows and on rides like "Its a small world" and "Pirates"?

Meeting Mickey - where is the best place we can meet Mickey? In Florida, he's in Mickey's tent but do they have something similar in DLRP? We have been, but years ago and I can't remember!!!

Meals - any good recommendations for table service meals? Or am I stupid to even think we will get any ADRs at this late stage?

I'm sure I have loads more questions but am very grateful in advance for any advice on these ones!!!

Hi

What a great birthday surprise. Sorry I cant really help too much about the buggy but Im sure you wont have a problem taking it on Eurostar. Could you borrow a cheaper one from somebody or look for a cheap 2nd hand one. I know some people have taken bicycle chains to lock them up outside rides.

You would probably be ok taking him on Small World, the railroad, The storybook ride but Im not sure about POC as there are a few drops

Mickey has a meet and greet in the main park and the studios - pick up a guide as you go in and you will get the times and places

You should be fine getting ADRs - we were there 2 weeks ago and only booked our meals when we were there - do it at your hotel or City Hall

If you look at the restaurant FAQ sticky there are lots of reviews there

Where are you staying?

Have a great time and Happy Birthday

Our buggy wasnt cheap and didnt have any problems on our last 2 trips but some others on here take bike locks to lock it up when you go on rides.

They also do baby swap so you dont have to wait in line twice and can hop on when your partner gets off. Although not sure if its on all rides?

I would say yes to its a small world, not sure about pirates not been on it. Fantasyland would be the best place for rides to take him on
