Hey! Just read your PJ and everything sounds fantastic! Your ring looks very similar to mine...oh and I love your invitations!! I'm glad to see another Southwestern Ontario bride (I'm in Guelph, so we are neighbours!!). Where are you thinking of buying a house? Have you tried contacting places like Raglan Road or one of the Swan and Dolphin restaurants? The may have availability and have semi-private spaces!

I looked to have my rehearsal dinner at a few places in down town Disney a lot of them will seat you together and some semi privet areas to sit. One is Raglan Road another is a new Restaurant named Paradiso 37 they also have live music in the evening ( i have the catering menu for here if you want it). There is also a restaurant in the Contemporary called the Wave that had a privet room. Hope you find something.

Oh, I hope everything works out!!! I agree with the above poster, Raglan Road is probably a good option to look into! I think it is so irritating that people would do that to you....they need to understand the implications with planning a wedding so far away :headache:

Ok. I thought I had everything set. Our BEO was done, and we were happy with it, and then I get thrown for a loop yesterday.

Barry got home from his parents house (he'd gone there for thanksgiving) and calls me to tell me that his nephew is now coming to the wedding too.

I'm like WHAT? We already were scrambling figuring out what to do with the Pontoon boat cruise, and now this puts us way over. Then Barry informs me that his Brother and Sister-In-Law might come too.

Sure it's nice that they're going to make it. But we counted on them not going. They had sent their reply card back stating not attending.

I called Kona Cafe to bump up our reservation, and the girl informs me that we will be sitting at multiple tables, and they can't guarantee that they will be near each other :scared1:

I was on the phone with Karen yesterday scrambling as we now have to book a reception room. Karen couldn't find any immediate availability for that date, and said she'd try to get back to me late yesterday or today.

I haven't heard from her yet, which I'm taking as not a good sign. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking maybe I'll rent a 2 bedroom or Grand Villa at one of the DVC resorts and have something catered in. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Sorry you are having so much stress!!
As a DVC owner I have to say that renting a Grand Villa at this late stage will probably be out of the question :sad2:
Perhaps the other girls are right and a restaurant may be the answer

At this time the last thing you should be worrying about is the darn shop who made a mess of your dress, you have a new dress, it will be perfect. I hope that from this day now, you will be happy and nothing will go wrong. You dont deserve to be going through this right now, so you have to be strong.

Oh and yeahy for the flying fish! that place looks wicked!!

Wow! I haven't posted in awhile! I've been so crazy busy with overtime at work and wedding plans!

I picked up my dress after my final fitting yesterday. I LOVE it! I did not want to take it off, I felt like such a princess in it. My mom was just gushing. The song "Your Beautiful" came on while I had it on in the shop, and my mom was like "how appropriate".

7 more people have now been added to our guest list bringing our total to 19 (including us). Quite a change from our original plans of just the two of us getting married on the beach in Jamaica!

Barry's work transfer came thru. He'll be working just outside of town in Cambridge, so we're we're pretty excited about that. Today was his last day at work in Saskatoon, and I'm leaving shortly to pick him up at the airport in Toronto. He'll officially be here for good tonight!!! I'm so excited! :goodvibes

I can't believe we're leaving in two days! I swear tomorrow will be the slowest day EVER at work. I'm not quite sure how I'll make it thru, lol.

In less than 48 hours I'll be at Disney!!! YAY!

Ohh, your pics turned out sooooo well! It looks like you had an incredible day! Thanks for the vendor reviews, although now I am scared :scared1: I have to use DPS since my ceremony is in a park, and I have Ron as well. He hasn't really been nice through emails, so I have been worried...although I am at least glad that he responds.

I can't wait to hear about your trip!! And I hope you stay clear of the H1N1!!

P.S Did you register at The Bay in Kitchener? Do you know if it is bigger than the one in Cambridge?
