I realize that I have made more than my share of trips to this well this year, but I need to ask for your thoughts and pryares yet again.

I have been having eye issues again. This time in the other eye.

I went to the retina DR again today and it seems that the retina in my right eye has torn and detached.

I will be having a retina reattachment, a scleral buckle and a vitrectomy on my right eye at noon tomorrow,

I'll be out of commission for a while....but I'll be back.

Oh, Kevin! I am so sorry you are having to go through this.

I am very nearsighted so my doctor is always warning me about detatched retinas. I hope if I ever have similar problems, I get as much love, support and pixie dust as you get.

Hope John will read all the messages we leave for you.

Have him read books to you, too.

Hope all will go well and you will be reading your Kindle soon. :hug:

Dear Kevin,

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. DH has had many of the same eye problems and surgerys that you have had. The detached retnia/buckle procedure takes a little more time to heal but since he has had it in both eyes, his vision is fantastic.

I will also pray for your medical team!!

That's so bizarre! You are the third person I know who has been diagnosed with RD today! (2 patients walked into my office with that - both having surgery tomorrow)
