Has anyone heard any recent figures regarding sales and the percentage sold for the BCV?

To date BCVs are approximately 40% sold out.

That sounds about right. A little over a month ago they were saying about 30%, and they've also projected it will sell out by the end of the year. A little less than 10% a month would do it. One would think that sales would slow down a little with the price increase now fully in force, but who knows?

Last night in his online interview the YC/BC GM confirmed that BCV is 40% sold out at this point.

I wonder if sales have slowed at all. I could see the big rush by people waiting to buy and then taking advantage of the incentives. Now, with a price increase, I wonder if it's still as crazy.

Of course, a whole new group of people will be "seeing" DVC for the first time with the opening of BCV.

I have cash ressies for December in a one bedroom. If they really expected to be sold out can they make rooms available now for cash? I don't think they could.

Mike, Disney always maintains 4% of a resort. They also probably have a pretty good idea how many new owners would be booking. People who "sell back" their points with Magical Beginnings also give Disney rooms to rent. So, that's a long-winded way of saying, yes you could have a reservation even if they expect to be sold-out. ;)
