Just wondering (I know there's a UK sub-forum), but I was wondering just how big the British Invasion is in this particular neck of the DIS woods?

Hello from Mark and Dean in East London!

Usually go to WDW in January, it's dead quiet; but giving it a miss mext year and going for Gay Days and making that our main holiday. Might go to Disneyland Paris earlier in the year.

Met up with some other Brits last time we went toGay Days - The Rose and Crown at EPCOT - where else!:rainbow:

That's beer and seven-up, right?

I had a couple of those at King Ludwigs at the Disney Village at DL Paris. They called them something else, though. I liked them!

My Brit friends do 1/2 beer and 1/2 lemonade. Very yummy and refreshing -- awesome with Coors Lite.:banana: The other fave rave for summer is Pimm's Cup which I'm thinking is more of an acquired test (wishing there was a wilted twitching frowny banana to insert here)

Interestingly enough, as a bartender, Mike doesn't mind when he's asked for one of those. :rotfl2:

Me too! How about if I listen to Radio 1 everyday and use British English? :) I found myself shouting "bugger" at the computer the other day.

Oh and I provide news and weather reports to my UK guests whilst working the parks. There were so many Brits on holiday last weekend! Didn't catch anybody from Wales, mostly England, a few from Scotland.

Anne and Amy ffrom very very cold Scotland, and much as we would love to go to Machester pride (my best friend lives there) we just cant get the time off work.

Oh well maybe next year

RENThead09

I am planning on hitting Manc Pride next year as well. I have been over to Manc each of the last 3 years to watch my Red Devils play. I am taking this year off so I can spend the first 3 weeks of next year over in the UK watching some football.

Any chance that Rooney, O'Shea, or Carrick will be dancing shirtless on top of a float for the pride parade? Fabio and Rafael would be OK as well!

It'll just be nice to be over there when it is (hopefully) not cold and rainy like my past trips! Now to just figure out how to get into the 2011 London Marathon.
