it will be my first time going with a child in Dec!:cool1: I cant wait to take my son. He will be two in dec (we go just before his bday).

We have had our Holiday booked a few weeks now, but over the past few weeks DS has took a huge dislike to rides. he is 19mths at the mo, but only a few mths ago he enjoyed them.
we have took him on deaside rides, he liked going on the little supermarket rides.
but these past few weeks he really doesnt want to go on.
he has never had a bad experience with any rides, i have always been there right with him......he just doesnt want to know them at the min. so im in panic mode that he might be like this in DLP. ive been so excited about taking him, he has been on a ride like dumbo a few mths ago and he liked it. but 2 weeks ago we took him to the seaside tried him on a coin slot machine wanted off within secs crying.

Has anyone else experienced this? I think he will be ok on rides like peter pan etc (well im really hoping so). I know there will be shows and he likes characters etc. so im sure he will enjoy alot of things still. i just hope he is a little more willing in Dec:santa: Little monkey;)

I am sure he will be fine:hug: December is a few months away and he will be a big boy by then ;) I would probably forget about trying him on seaside rides and he will probably forget about it ;)

You could start showing him photos of DLP and even show him some clips on You Tube - dont overdose him :)

and dont stress

There are looks more to do then the rides. Shows, parades, characters etc.

I am sure he will be ok when the time comes. I took DD when she was only 2 and she was happy to go on most things (apart from the dark rides) however she is still like that and she is 4 now.

I showed my kids some of the rides on you tube, be sure not to show him snow white! Even I kept my eyes closed on that ride!:lmao::lmao:
DH showed our son TOT and he kept saying he wanted to go on it! :rotfl2:

Yes good idea jackie, i will start showing him some pics etc. He knows who Micky Mouse is, ive brought him some micky things back from the past two times i have been.
If i say "Where is Micky mouse?" he runs and gets his teddy:hug:

Exactly critch there will be plenty for him to see and watch etc. I cant wait to take him on IASW i think he will love the music:)

A little but it's more on the dark side of Snow White, I had forgot what it was like till my DS asked me to go on it with him, he loved it!!:scared1:
I couldn't believe DH took him on TOT!! I never knew till DS ran up to me clutching a photo!! he had just made the height!:scared1: The funny thing is everyone else on the picture looks terrified and DS looks like he's having a ball! :rotfl2:

Ive been showing him pictures of Micky Mouse today....he has been clapping and keeps pointing at him.
I will show him some videos on you tube later. ( i even dressed him in his micky t-shirt today:lmao:)

my DP would like to go see the BBWWS, im just wondering if DS will be to young to see this, im assuming it is quite loud in there. would love us all to see this show. my main worry is will be sit down for a couple of hours without trying to run off.
