I have an iPhone problem that I am hoping someone can help me with.

Making a phone call, listening to music, sound effects on apps, etc.-the sound on the phone is fine.

But, listening to podcasts(any podcast, not just the Dis Unplugged) there is a distinct echo, sounds like the people talking are in a cavern or something.
It just started about a week and a half ago and it's very annoying-any insight as to what this is and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!

I had a similar problem, I took it into the Apple store and they told me that there was a little dust in the headphone jack and they just cleaned out and that seemed to fix the problem.

You might want to try going to your settings~ipod~and EQ and make sure you have spoken word checked...that helped me out...just don't forget to change it back to whatever music preference when you aren't listening to spoken word. Also, when you listen to a podcast make sure the little square box in the upper right corner underneath the time countdown is checked as
1x, if it happens to be 1/2x it will have a bit of a ehco/quiver sound.

Hope that helps!

I had that problem part way through a podcast...it's quite funny to listen to the team talking at 2x speed :lmao:

Oh shoot! There are so many little tricks to figure out. I
have had my I phone since the end of April and I still am learning
new things.

Oh that's okay! I'm always happy for an excuse to go to the mall ;), and the kids had fun checking out the computers while we were there.
