Hmmm...need more details before I can make a decision.
I'd love a return to the classic Main Street look so I'd love for the bulk of this celebration to be focused on Walt Disney Studios so that we can have old Main Street back :goodvibes

I think its great if they are going to focus on the Studios. I'm very pleased Princess Tiana will be appearing, DLRP isnt usually very good at getting new characters in the parks :confused3

Kinda glad i'm not going next year sounds boring (just like this year). Think I'll stick with my early 2011 trip instead.
I wish they would bring the Fairies to DLRP, I don't see why this is such a problem, they are in most of the other parks.

Nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooo!
There's already too much girlie stuff in DLRP. We need things boy's can relate to like Toy Story Land, Villians etc. I'd much rather they brought in a Villains 'meet n greet' or character meal than bring fairies to DLRP. Girls already have the Princess meet n greet and a character meal.

I like the fact there'll be no decorations on the Castle. :thumbsup2 I loved the 15th decorations but am not a big fan of the Mickey ones this year.
Also, I love the addition of Remy in the Stars n Cars parade.

:rotfl2: You would say that John, but the Fairies would make a lovely addition to Fantasyland.
I think i'll pass on a Villians character meal :lmao:
The only new good news is no more tacky decorations on the castle  and "hopefully" Old Main Street back

Sounds good to me, keeping everything crossed we can make it back next year as we (again) had a fabulous time this year.

Before the 15th Anniversary and discounting the 10th Anniversary in 2002, I don't actually remember much in the way of a 'theme' in my previous visits and I enjoyed those holidays just as much as the 2 birthday celebration holidays. Maybe there were themes in 2003-2006 but they must have passed me by, were there?
Can't say the any themes or celebrations makes any difference to me wanting to go or not - as long as Pirates of the Caribbean and the Cheyenne are there I'm a happy camper!

A villian character meal would be well good, they should do that at halloween :thumbsup2

That's me exactly (apart from the Cheyenne as we've never stayed there) - but just add Tigger, Big Thunder Mountain and Indiana Jones to that!

I like the no decorations on the castle too.
Not sure if I will like the new theme tho as to me traditional characters dont fit in with the idea I have on disney which is why i prefer the park to the studios.
Its good the new princess will be included though.

I think Steve's hit the nail on the head, I can't remember there being themes on our first trips, but I do remember being bowled over by Main Street and the view to the castle. It was March and Fantillusion was running and there was a cowboy shoot out show up on the rooftops of Frontierland, I watched while the others rode BTM for the 5th time (I have my limits lol).
I suppose having new themes makes marketing very easy, but I wouldn't mind a return to previous times and a big build up to the 20th Anniversary.
Love the idea of a villains character meal.:thumbsup2

I like that Remy & Emile are joining the Stars & Cars Parade & that the character express is going to be practically Pixar characters:thumbsup2

I dont like the fact the express will be all pixar, this is what the studios "feels" like it should be about

I managed to get a few cheeky shots over the wall at the building of Toy Story Land in DHS last week;

Just a few deep holes being dug at present, but I was impressed at how wide the space is going to be. I think it is going to be a great addition to the studios :thumbsup2

I tried to spy from the Panoramagique balloon, but really to no avail - it's just a construction site at the moment... I agree that it appears to be quite big, though (to walk around it , coming from Studio Tram Tours, I also noticed this)

You and me both hollymattbenmilo :rotfl2:
I was thinking about this we were there during "Kid's Carnaval" in 2006 and totally missed it, so the themes can't be a big deal to me (us).
My eldest 15 was totally obsessed with Toy Story he had, in fact still has all the toys, apart from Jessie which he gave to his cousin, he would've loved the new Toy Story land. :)

I love the castle with no theme its sooooo pretty , We were there for the
10th anniversy and I cant remember much fuss just a large cake float in the parade,if they they go too much on big themes the 20th will be nothing different . hoping no one but us will turn up next year although there will be 12 of us so if we spread out around the park will look full :lmao::lmao:
Like the pixar charactors but I hope they dont compleatly take over (would love a real moving lighting mcqueen going around the studios:lmao:) some of the princesses have gone into the studios parade so I dont see why we cant have a mixture in both of the parks goodvibes

Ok, please forgive me for this :rotfl2:.......but the most exciting thing for me was.......reading that Mickey's Magical Party Time is (hopefully) staying! The night time show of this is brilliant and it's one of the things that sticks in my mind. My family knew the tune well and watched the youtube vids so were well prepared. I LOVED it!!
I am returning next year with the family, and also doing a Florida drop and get me, either Hong Kong or Tokyo (probably the former) and I'm really excited about going back to DLRP if MMPT is still on :lmao:
