Hi ladies!
I hoping you all can help me convince DF that we should have a private reception meal at the attic after our wedding at SBP.
I just found out from BoardwalkBride that they lowered the minimums for the attic and now any event ending before 5pm is 1000$ F&B. :woohoo: I showed DF this option and his reaction was, I want dinner foods not a brunch. His plan is to go into the parks for a dinner at either Coral reef or le cellier. I'm ok with this option too but i like the idea of having a private meal with right after. So what are our options for food? I know you can only do a buffet at the attic but what can we get to eat? DF said unless he can have his wedding day new york strip he's not into it :rolleyes1
TIA!

If you PM me your email address I can send you the lunch menu I got, although it is changing in September. You can also find the brunch menu here, in case he changes his mind

There are many different menus for the BoardWalk venues, and lots of them can be found here: http://********************/ftw/wdw/menus.html
However, you can have any kind of food you want! Even the older menus on that site are still good for reference, since you can take a menu and customize it with dishes from other menus at BWI or at other resorts, or in the parks, or even your own family recipes.
You just submit your requests through your planner, and s/he finds out whether the chefs at the BoardWalk can make what you want.
ETA: We had New York Strip at our tasting for our Attic reception. It wasn't that great, but it's been 2 years, so maybe the quality of their meat has improved since then!

Very true. We are doing a brunch menu. It is "soul" food and ethnic cuisine. I told our WC and the Boardwalk chef came up with a menu and they priced it out. If you know specifically what you want they can find out if they can make it happen. :wizard:
