Hi all,
Just wondering if it is possible to see the summer fireworks from anywhere inside Sequoia ?
We were talking with our little man and he would rather get up for EMH than stay up one night for the fireworks.
So I thought I could maybe just wake him and carry him to a window and then pop him back in bed. ?
We did watch them in December from a really tall window at the end of our floor, but they were set off from the lake then.
Many thanks for any ideas.:)

Depending where your room is, it may be possible to see them from your room. If you have a Montana room anywhere on the Lake Side then you should have at least partial view. We had perfect view from our room recently, so maybe grovel a bit at check in:confused3 Barring that, my hubby said he could see the fireworks from the outside decking area at the hotel rear on theright hand side of Redwood Lounge. They were distant, but certainly visible.

Have you a Montana room or one of the lodges? If you have a Montana one (in the main building), you may be cheeky and contact hotel before hand and ask if possible to get 7th floor room.;) This is where we had ours and had perfect view of castle and fireworks from bedroom window. They can only deny....whats the harm in asking??:rolleyes1

You should be fine in a Montana lakeside room. We stayed in a lakeside room at NPB this year, and had a good view of the fireworks on our first night, but I worked out that SL would have had just as good views, if not better due to it being slightly closer (we were originally thinking of staying at SL, and doing the same thing with our son).
In reality, our son wanted to stay up late every night after the first night to watch Fantillusion and the fireworks in the park, meaning we missed EMH every day!

We have stayed in a Montana room before but this time its a lodge room, but thanks for all the ideas.
I will see how we are doing, and maybe suggest it for the last night, he is 5 now so really keen to get as much rides as possible in, so will see how tired he is !!
Thank you both :)
