OK, thanks to all your lovely advice have FINALLY decided to book HB+. Big question now is - where to book!!
We are staying at Sequoia Lodge and like the look of the buffet there, but is there a better way we can value for money elsewhere?:confused3

We have booked HB+ vouchers and chosen Hunters Grill at SL and La Grange as being buffets you know it doesn't matter how much you eat there will be nothing more to pay!
For our third choice we have chosen Walts as we wanted something a bit special one night. We will probably eat off the main menu though and use our vouchers at face value, so I don't know whether this is a really cost effective option. I'm also having doubts as to how much my kids will eat there and looking at the dessert menu I'm not sure DS will eat any of them:confused3(there is no ice cream:scared1:)
So I am in two minds as to whether we should change this to Cafe Mickey? at least then you get the character interaction.

You can ask for icecream as an alternative on the childrens menu

We were thinking of Cafe Mickey as our nephew has never been to Disney and I would like him to experience a character meal, now just need to sort out two other meals:yay:

We also ate buffet at HNY Parkside Diner and it was really lovely. Not sure when you're going though as NY restaurants seem to be closed until the end of August.
I'd recommend Cafe Mickey, which is a premium restaurant, but you can eat off the main menu and use the vouchers at face value. I'd suggest having pizza if you like it - 14.50E plus extra for toppings - and then a nice dessert and some drinks. I don't think the main meals were worth what the cost.
Walts was my favourite - felt really posh, and I enjoyed the Salmon and cheescake from the half board menu. If you have older kids that are classed as adults, there is also a teen menu they can order from.
Happy planning!!
