Laura, those are great pics. So many people have been asking about RPR club. The servings look very similar to what we experienced at PBH.

Wow, thanks for the pics! DBF and I are staying Club Level at HRH next month and I'm guessing the offerings will be pretty similar. I'm surprised at what you had for dinner, I had no idea it was "real" food- looks like we won't be eating out then!
One question: could you please tell me if they serve wine by the glass or do they give you those miniature bottles?

In the picture of the Beer, far off to the right you can see the three wine bottles. There was a White, a Merlot and something else... a Rose perhaps? So at RPR the wine in bottled. YMMV at HRH
There are also cocktails available for $5 each that are charged to the room. :thumbsup2

Ooh, I'm glad that rosé is offered. Surely they don't let you take a whole bottle of wine though?! That seems a little crazy!
The cocktails sound good too, thanks for letting me know.

I am not a wine drinker and I am not sure what the third wine was exactly, I was only guessing Rose do dont get your hopes up.
And you can go back and get as many glasses of wine your heart desires, and I bet if you asked you can have two glasses to take back to your room.
Also we stopped by to get bottled water which you have to ask for, and it's warm, so I tried to remember to grab some and chill it the night before.

Good to know about the warm water. Wonder why they don't at least keep it chilled if they are going to "hide" it? Seems odd to me.

I know! I thought about complaining about it but then I thought... 4-6 bottles a day times 50 rooms, they most likely dont have the space in their fridge for all that, and the days offerings.
No biggy, just try and grab some the night before and chill it in your room.

Ended up doing club level for 2 days. The lounge is very relaxing and the drink choices seem endless. I wasn't overly crazy about the food selections. Other than a hot dish, they have the same stuff everyday. Not the greatest selection for kids. They do have peanut butter and jelly, but not much else for fussy eaters. The staff was very friendly.

I have to disagree about having the same stuff everyday. There was always a variation in the selections. Yes, there was always a veggie tray, but as you can see some days they had some chilled grilled veggies, Each of the cold chicken salads had different seasonings. They always offered three different cheeses and each night there was at least one different than the night before, often two.
They even rotated the cookies served, one night offering ALL the different cookies served through out the week. (made fresh not left over)
We have a fussy eater who ate a lot of PBJ but fussy eaters don't dictate what the rest of the family does (ok maybe sometimes they do), if they dont want to try new things, they eat a lot of PBJ. Their issue, not mine. HA :upsidedow

I see your point Laurabearz, however, my idea of club level does not include chicken salad . I would of thought they would have had chicken wings, nachos and queso, tacos, more of the food like they have at a Residence Inn. After spending all day in the park, who wants to come back and have "chicken salad" before dinner. Our 2 days also had a lot of repeats, so maybe if you are their a week it changes. I enjoyed breakfast, but I could do without the others.

How much "extra" is club level, and did you feel like there were advantages to it? Or would it just even out if you just spent that same money on buying what you wanted at the time? Not seeing the advantage for a cocktail drinker when that is $5 a pop. :confused3 That's no different than typical bar prices. :confused3

Thank you for posting this. Great pictures to give a sense of the Club Level.
We booked CLub @HRH for 3/28-4/3 2010 for a first timer on site.
No snacks needed in the room ....send the kids down the hall :lmao: I love the idea of a quick breakfast, coffee etc... also.
All these CL photos made me ask my TA how much it would be to upgrade to CL.
Luckily for my waistline, they are already fully booked.

I think by the time all the deals were out for our time frame, my great rate of around $200 a night for Club was up against $149 a night AP rates. So that's about $50 more a night. In contrast I just paid $220 a night NON club at RPR this past week.
Breakfast alone for our family would run $30 plus, so once you add in waters, snacks, beer and wine (free) and that $5 cocktail was so strong I needed two glasses for it <wink> and the fact that it's all right down the hall.... well... I will be poking around for good rates again, that's for sure.
Am I the only one who can't see the pics???

Wow- I hadn't even considered club level for our trip assuming it was just a few "snacky" items. But, looking at this, we could really end up saving money (at least that's what I'll tell my hubby!) by eating breakfast here, grabbing waters, having 1 or 2 relaxing dinners without leaving the resort.
Thanks for giving me this "food for thought" :flower3:

Just booked PBR yesterday club level, we stayed club at HRH back in 06 and definitely got our money's worth (:drinking1 and water alone.
For us, we just over from WDW and DDP, which we will again and we were so full of food that we ate only one meal a day in addition to the club offerings, sometime CS sometimes TS.
Depends on your situation, if it's just for quick bite in the morning and a couple of bottles of water it may not be worth the $100.

Just looking at the pics again after the holiday and the food offerings seem more substantial ie: you could eat for dinner rather than what we experienced over Christmas week at PBH - not complaining, food was great but it wasn't pasta, sandwiches etc definitely snacky/appetizer stuff. I will post a trip report in more detail but for example one night it was potstickers, spring rolls, another it was perogies and I think chicken skewers - one really great night (for me anyway) was smoked salmon and scallops (they were tiny scallops though not the big ones).

Thanks SO much for posting this. Staying at RPR first time at end of August with our 3 pre-teen boys. Thanks to seeing that the evening 'relaxation' is more like meals than snacks, looks like it will be worth the additional $60 per day for 5 nights.

Just upgraded to club and got the last queen room for our 5 nights.Hovered about doing this but we ahve a couple of spare days where we are doing half days and it will be great to pop up for a drink and some snacks. Will def have breakfast everyday and that alone will cove the $4o I have paid extra a night for the 3 of us.
Do they allow ou to take a few snacks out like a cake and do they let you take a couple of bottles of water.
Food porn great and much more than what I expected. Will hopefully save us a lot as wont have to eat out as much now. Just in the parks .Do want to try pastamore and bubbagumps though. My 40th bday so will go that night.

I've stayed at Club level at the RPR several times and it is really good.
I am amazed that with the prices Disney charges it does not come close to the RPR IMO.

Before they stop serving alcohol they even come around and offer to top up your wine for you.

Food looks yummy! If we stay onsite again, I think I'll book club level next!
The frog reminded me of a friend of mine that is an independent film maker. He has a red chili pepper pillow that he places randomly in the background of a few scenes in each of his movies. He said he got the idea from another known film director (I forgot whom though).

Sweet. Thanks, that is awesome!
By the breakout of your pics, it seems that you can get all three meals in the Club Lounge. Universal's website only refers to hors d'oeuvres, but that looks pretty heavy. The penne dishes, and the pepper steak looking stuff.
Can you really do all your meals in the lounge?

I'm glad I found this thread...now I think club level might be worth the splurge in July. Without any specials posted it is about 100 bucks more a night which is pushing but...free beer sounds good to me.
I know peeps already talking about water bottles but are their diet cokes hidden with them too. Free diet cokes would pretty much seal the deal for me. Do they have take special request? I'm a vegetarian will they have choices for me at the dinner hour part?
Thanks for the great pictures...I hope to see more from others before my trip is booked.
OT any discounts out there for July 2011 that people know about?

I cannot decide if I should upgrade to club level for my one night in January. It is ds (age 21 and I). We will get there very early in the a.m. the first day. Will we have immediate access to club level or not until when we get the actual room key? The continental breakfast would be perfect before going to the park and we drink about 6 bottles of water each per day anyway. Thanks in advance.
