I was wondering, because i know a lot of people come to the one in florida. But i was asking to see if anyone had been anywhere else. I live in alabama, but i have gone to disney land in california. Please tell me which of the places you have been. I have been to both that are in the USA.

The closest Disney park is about 1,000 miles away from my home, so any trip I have made to Disney is a long one! I have been to both WDW in Florida and to DLR in California.

I live in England and have been to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland. We are also planning future trips to go to Disneyland Tokyo and to Hong Kong.

In the same boat! Any trip to a Disney park is a major journey for us.

We've been to Disneyland and WDW. We were in Paris and didn't go to Disneyland there. I totally regret that! We would love to visit the one in Tokyo.

I'm close to Disneyland but we travel to WDW 2-3 times per year because we like it so much better.
We've also been to Disneyland Paris once and hope to go again as I absolutely loved it there.

I live in NY, so WDW is pretty far for us. Did not do other Disney parks, but would do the one in Paris.

My home to Orlando - 1400 miles
My home to Anaheim - 2900 miles
We've been to both.
Other than ski resorts, there's nothing near our home, so we travel to everything. :rotfl2:

I can see Disneyland from my office window and live only 10 miles away. We are annual passholders and love it. We are heading to Orlando and WDW next week for our second trip there.

We go to WDW a lot because we like FL in general and it is a quick flight.
We have gone to DL 2 times only because we were in CA. Would not make a special trip for DL, but will visit when touring CA.

I live about 20-25 miles north of Disneyland Resort and have been there countless times. Also, visited WDW about 20 years ago and I'm excited that I will be going there (for the second time) in just a few months!

I live right next door to Disney World, so I visit the four FL parks very frequently. However, I have been to CA twice...most recently, on the Disneyland Adventure By Disney last year.

I live 45 minutes away from Disneyland and 3000 miles from Disneyworld.
I prefer the 3000 mile trip:cool1:

I live in Washington State and my last 3 trips to a Disney park have been to Disney World. I don't even want to go back to Disneyland!

I grew up in L.A. so my old home park was DL. Now I live a few hours from WDW, so we go there often. Made it back to DL last summer. Was nice to go back "home."
My dream is to visit DISNEY SEA in Tokyo. One day!! :wizard:

We live in San Diego, and have been to Disneyland/DCA too many times to count. LOVE IT!!!
We went Disney Paris two years ago - would love to go back as we had some mishaps that morning so only got to spend the afternoon there.
Are making our FIRST trip to WDW in Sept!!!
Hope to one day visit the other ones...each one is unique, but familiar at the same time.

For those who've been to the Paris resort, what did you like and how is it different than WDW? We are planning to go to Paris sometime in the near future and considered adding that as a stop (we have children ages 7, 5, and almost 3). Going to Paris for me is all about exposing my kids to a new culture so I'm concerned that taking them there would be like going to WDW, just in Paris. Hope that makes sense.

I live in MA:
WDW: AP holder for several years, many trips
DL: 4 trips, most recently '06 planning a trip for Fall 2010
DLP: Honeymoon trip '04 thinking about maybe 2013 for another trip
TDL, DLHK: I will go there but no plan on the horizon yet

You're asking a mouthful there. The Disneyland park is beautiful, very well maintained with lots of great attractions. The studios park is very weak, not even a half day. There is a Disney Village similar to a DTD but it wasn't that great (although I understand they recently added a Starbucks which gives it a :thumbsup2 in my book. The issues I had was the lack of enthusiasm (magic) of the CMs, people smoked everywhere and pushed and shoved like you've never seen. If you go you absolutely need to go in with an open mind and do not try to compare the resort with its US counterparts or you will be let down, without question. All this being said I really want to (and plan to) go back.

Geographically speaking, WDW is very far from my home (over 4000 miles if I remember correctly) so I have been to one not near my house! I've also been to the one in Paris.

I also live in Washington State and have been to Disneyland numerous times. This will be my 3rd trip to WDW. My kids prefer Disneyland mainly because the flight is much shorter.

We're a 40 minute drive from WDW, so we go there pretty much every month.
We've been to DL several times (together and alone).
We went to DLP a few years ago.
We went to TDL and TDS back in April (absolutely fantastic!)
We're waiting for HKDL to add more attractions before we head there...plus we're itching to get back to Japan for more TDL and TDS...that may come before Hong Kong!
