Disney Cruise = New BLT Add-On!

DH and I returned Saturday night from our Disney Eastern Caribbean cruise with a new addition - 100 points in BLT!! We couldn't resist the cruise incentives. With our 325 SSR and 125 AKV points, we're now at 550 points. Looking at all of the pictures people have taken, I am very excited to stay at our new home resort!! :lovestruc

I too would like to know what the incentives are. My wife has always felt sick any time she goes near the water and thus no cruises for us. I finally got her on a boat and she did well enough that we are planning on doing a cruise. That being said I am always up for another bout of add-on-titis.

I've heard on many threads how good the cruise incentives are and am wondering the same. I am planning to do a DCL cruise in about 2-3 years, so BLT may be sold out by then. Do they only sell the latest resort to open (like BLT now) or can you buy any resort?

Curious as to what kind of incentives they offer. Thanks!

The incentives were a choice of a 3-night cruise (I believe there are limited sailing dates offered) or a vacation point credit. For 100 points, we got $1,300 off.

As for what is being offered, we had a choice of the 4 resorts being sold now - SSR, AKV, BLT, and/or GCV. We were toying with adding more points to our AKV or adding a new resort GCV (closer to us on the west coast) or BLT. We chose BLT. My DH was a little nervous about the limited rooms available at GCV, even at the 11 month mark.

We're both happy with our decision! :goodvibes

Hmmmm...."on land" I was offered $19 off per point for 100 points (w/o cruise), which would have been a $1,900 savings ($93/point). Interesting...
