Listen lady! I apologized for my previous mistake and I made the most of the situation by stretching it into a three day party, I even bought a mutilated man cake for the occasion! So just pipe down and have a good time

besides, we have to make the most out of these birthday celebrations and get as much fun as we can out of them, Rob's not getting any younger and we each have a finite number of birthdays in life. His number is just a lot smaller than some :rotfl:

At work right now, but lots of celebrating planned.

Tonight after work we're heading to Epcot so I can pick up my gift card from Disney, then we're doing dinner at Le Chef's de France.

Tomorrow night, we're seeing The Matchmaker at Mad Cow Theatre in downtown Orlando with one of our favorite former Adventurers Club performers playing Dolly Levi. We'll have dinner at Bento Cafe beforehand.

Friday night we're having dinner at Texas de Brazil and using the "buy one meal get one free for your birthday" coupon I got via email.

And considering that the birthday celebration started LAST Friday with drinks with Jackskellingtonsgirl, Soulmates, and O-Mike, that means a week of birthday revelry! :woohoo:

I should turn 41 more often!:lmao:

In addition to buying a bottle of my favorite fragrance (Calivn Klein's Escape for Men - which I was running out of) Scott did something very cool. He replaced the batteries and watch bands on five of my favorite watches that I haven't been able to wear for a while. So it's like getting new watches all over again!

Dress code is "resort casual - NO NUDITY!"

Had to add that last part because of Rosie's misbehavior at every other party we've ever had. :sad2:

Poor Rosie... :sad2:

Seems like your tatas are not the only thing to precede you at this party huh? :confused3

Okay, kids, it's time for me to log off and change clothes so we can head over to Epcot for the birthday celebration!

I'd say that I'll think about you while we're out having fun . . . but let's be honest here, I'm not going to give any of y'all a second thought!

See you later!

And, I'm back.

Great night tonight!

Stopped and saw the World Showcase Players in Italy while sipping a glas of Banfi Rosa Regale (yummy stuff). One of the performers happens to be a friend who used to perform at the Adventurers Club. August 12th is his birthday as well, so we were happy to be able to trade BD wishes.

Then off to Le Chefs de France. It was SOOOO good!

I had the escargot appetizer and Scott had the lobster bisque.

For entrees, I had the duck and Scott had the beef short rib.

Dessert was creme brulee for Scott and a dark chocolate orange mousse cake with coconut ice cream for me.

It was wondeful. And sadly it wasn't until we were halfway through dessert that I thought about taking pictures of the food. So no food porn. Sorry.

After dinner, we headed to World of Disney and I picked up a pair of shorts and a polo shirt. After using the gift card Disney gave me for my birthday, I only spent $1.42. That made me happy.

Great day!

And two more fun evenings planned for the rest of the week! :woohoo:

So glad to hear that you had a wonderful evening, Rob.... :)

I can't wait for my birthday (Sunday), and although I won't be at the MK, I hope I at least get some birthday pie (yes, I prefer pie to cake)...

Anyway, how were the short ribs? We've thought about making ressies there, but weren't sure if we'd really enjoy it.

The short ribs were very good. We've never had a bad meal there.

Speaking of cake, when we got home I discovered that Scott had baked me a Pina Colada cake with coconut creme cheese frosting! It looks delicious, but we were just too full to cut into it last night.

So it looks like we're having cake for breakfast! :woohoo:

I wish! I'm really dragging. It was a LONG day yesterday, and a late night (it was fun of course, but exhausting). I'm going to be loading myself up with caffiene and sugar all day just to stay awake! :rotfl2:

The cake was nummy though:yay:

any chance the Pina Colada cake recipe might end up on the recipe thread? Sounds yummy?

It was an experiment. Scott typically makes it with Orange Juice and used a combination of pineapple and coconut juice that he found at the store instead. I'm eating a piece now. It's yummy.
