I've just discovered (from the BBC website) that this programme is scheduled for Thu 4 Jul, 04:05 - 04:35 on BBC1.

Now, if I can remember to set the VCR again.........

I'm not a big tennis fan but I like watching Wimbledon, but I must admit the BBC had their wires crossed last night!

Luckily I noticed the channel switch for the holiday programme so managed to change the VCR just in time. I was a bit annoyed that Eastenders and Mersey Beat were delayed though, especially as on BBC2 they seem to think a repeat of The Good Life was worth viewing, rather than putting the switching the tennis to BBC2.

I suppose as the BBC have lost so many big sporting events to Sky etc. they have the make the most of the little they have left :)

I actually really like the tennis and happened to be watching on BBC2 when they changed it over to BBC1 so we caught the announcement that the Holiday Programme would be shown on BBC2 so we watched that before turning to the tennis. But I just wanted to say that I know how maddening it is as all the channels do it for all sports, football, motor racing, cricket, etc., etc., and it drives me absolutely mad:mad:

Not everyone loves sport but some people do, I know I live with a sports fanatic, so what we need is one terrestrial channel dedicated solely to sport and then the rest of us can sit down happy in the knowledge that our EastEnders, Corrie, holiday programme, whatever, will be uninterrupted, changed or worst still cancelled altogether!

I'll set the video too - thanks for the info!
I must admit, I was so engrossed in the tennis that I didn't notice the time for the programme came and went...... you may gather that I really enjoy Wimbledon :) !
