Tired, but OH sooo happy. We are OFFICIALLY engaged, yes, she said YES! Lots to share, but I'm at work, trying to get back into the swing of things. The quick updates:

She LOVES DW! We are SOOOO ready to buy into DVC. We met Mike who is an absolute sweetheart! He met us at the Poly and took our pictures. AND drove us back to the resort, again, sweetheart!

We had dinner with Elizabeth, her husband Jody and their charming son Carter! We really had a great time visiting with them, great people! We then took our party into to the lounge where we met Rob & Scott and Mike for drinks. Rob & Scott, VERY tall men with big hearts. We really enjoyed getting to know them and sharing many stories and LOTS of laughter that night. Hated to leave, but we were all so tired. :grouphug:

The trip was just amazing, romantic and filled with LOTS of pixie dust!

More to come I promise!!

Chris

Yes, but really small, something probably outdoors, being that it will be fall here. Nothing like yours or Robs. You boys set the standard WAYYYY too high for the rest of us! ;)

Well, maybe a little :rotfl:

But hey, I was gunning for a while for a totally small Disney World Escape type wedding for a while. REally I was trying to get a WDW honeymoon out of the deal.

We decided against it because hubby's dad had a stroke a few years ago and is wheelchair bound, so flying him across the country seemed a bit much to ask.

Well, she loved DW as a whole, not just the parks. She LOVED the resorts and all they have to offer guest, ESPECIALLY the way they treat their guests. That of course, sets them apart from everyone else in the hospitality field. She liked the parks, MK was her favorite. She's not a huge ride fan (she was in a bad car accident years back and it's just too much for her) She did like the easier rides, but she really loved the shows, the shops, the street performers, basically, the "Atmosphere" of it all. When she walked onto Main Street, she was just blown away...she could have window shopped for days...she really enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. I have a feeling next trip, she'll want to do the same, pace ourselves and enjoy lounging at the resort everday poolside. The food was just amazing and she loved all the attention to detail. Yeah, she was impressed. From the second we pulled in and heard "Welcome Home" she was hooked!

I hope James feels the same way when we go in September. He hasn't been since the girls were small and parenting at the parks is a whole other experience.
