View Full Version : I got married last weekend.

Lets get the reason that this is a wish worthy topic out of the way. Allow me to complain a bit. After the wedding, we had a whole day to pack for the homeymoon which was at martha's vineyard. Still, when we got there Monday I unpacked all my running stuff to find that I had no running shoes at all. I had two pair of sandles and one pair of formal shoes. We drove all over the island looking for a shoe store but I could not find anything close to what I was looking for. In the end, I simply didn't run. It would not be the worst thing but I am really trying for a P.R. at the Hartford 1/2 on October 10. Anyway, we will see what happens. BTW, there were runners everywhere and I was so jealous!!!

The wedding was awesome. We had it at the stonecroft country inn in Ledyard, CT. It was like a weekend long party as we had all 10 rooms at the inn booked for the weekend.

Good luck! Too bad about the shoes, but you probably needed a rest after all that wedding fun, anyway! Here's to a happy life! :cloud9:

Beautiful! Congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together.

You'll just have to go back to Martha's Vineyard for your first anniversary, and bring your running shoes then!

It sounds like a wonderful wedding and the whole party look wonderful. I am very intrugued about what role the balloon played- was that a post ceremony activity!?! I love it! Wishing you a magical future together

I can't actually see your pictures here at work (stupid filter) but I just wanted to comment and say congratulations your marriage. I am sure your new wife appreciated the time spent with her during the honeymoon. LOL And I am sure you will do great in your half!!

I think that a trip back to the vineyard may be in order. Although, all these other trips cut into my disney vacation $. Can't do that!!;)

I definitely would not call her a runner but she is walking the Hartford half for charity. That is good enough for me.
