12/02, DC quoted same rates as expedia?

I just talked with a Disney Club CM and for dates in early December I was quoted the same rates that are listed on expedia for the Wilderness Lodge. These look like rack rates to me for first two weeks of December 2002:

Standard: $194 plus tax
Woods: $214 plus tax

I asked him a couple of times if that was with the DC discount and he said yes.

Am I wrong? Did anyone get these WL room types for less?

Those were definitely rack rates. Maybe they have already sold out of DC rate rooms for that time? I would call back and talk to another CM, and if you are quoted the same rates as before then ask if that is because the DC rooms are all sold out. Just my guess. :confused:

That's a good idea. I think maybe this CM was a little confused, he sure confused me!

Called back. Now booked for a std room at WL, 3 nights for a total with tax of $549 which would be $183 per night WITH tax, much better :)
